Gasparilla Island Hotellit

”The only thing that freaked us out when we 1st got there to check in, the office was closed. Said you have to contact office for late check ins after 9pm. We booked online through expedia and never seen that anywhere, til we got our confirmation email and at the very bottom..there it was! Should be at the top!! But there was a number to call and they were very prompt and we didnt have to wait long before we were in our room. They had a lock box on our room door handle for us n a key inside. The...

”A must stay if you are in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area. The house was spotless and had everything you needed for a homelike feeling. Spacious and well equipped with the necessities for everyday comfort in a quiet neighborhood. Close to main road with access to shopping and restaurants. Better than an "extended stay" hotel.”

”Clean Rooms, Beautiful Setting and lots of wildlife just outside the porch! We saw a Manatee, Dolphins, Alligator and plenty of Bird Life! The area is an excellent spot for biking and hiking! The Calusa Habitat Mounds are nearby and a friendly day hike! Also nearby is a Marina that takes you to an Island for lunch and hiking as well as visiting Islands in the area! Very relaxing and fun place to take the whole Family!”

”Good parking. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Newer property. Good cinnamon rolls at breakfast. Comfortable bed.”

”Home was clean, well stocked. Great "yard" with deck, ample seating for beautiful morning coffee. Kayaks were awesome to explore canals and see dolphins and manatees. The little town is safe for walking around. ”

”Budget friendly bed was clean shower was clean fridge was clean microwave was clean. Conveniently located right down the road from destinations. Has every restaurant imaginable close by after a long day. Decent continental breakfast. The staff directs you to a virtual assistant kiosk with someone from a different country to check you in. I refused so they were happy to assist me at the front desk. ”

”We spent the night just before an early flight out the next morning. The grounds seemed well cared for. The staff was cordial but not extra friendly. The room had a comfortable bed- but it was rather outdated. It served us fine for what we needed but I would not choose to stay at this location for any other reason. The pool was out of order. The television kept losing its signal - which may have been weather related? Not sure. Nice location for the airport and close to many other businesses.”

”Yes parking was good, the only issue we had in the bedroom was there was no heat. The week it was kinda cold. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.”
