A peaceful paradise

We enjoyed getting together with our sons up here in this beautiful community. We felt like we were the only ones up here. The cabin was perfect. We enjoyed movies and game fun in the theater area. We loved the main floor for meals and we all enjoyed the balconies.

Perfect Stay!

The cabin looked just like the pictures online. It was just what we expected. The location was convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The kids loved the theater room and hot tub. Everything was clean and well kept. Bears frequented the area. Parking, however, was tight if you have 2 mid to oversized vehicles. All in all, it was a great stay and we are ready to come again.

Relaxing

Everything was great! Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the theater room tv didn’t have any sound so we couldn’t use it. Followed the directions with no luck. Otherwise it was perfect and we would come back anytime!! Saw a bear on the front porch 30 minutes after we walked inside!

Honeymoon Getaway

My wife and I had to reroute our honeymoon to Orlando due to Hurricane Idelia. After countless properties in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge we chose this cabin. Andrew was always available to text or call. The location despite being around other cabins is down a dead end drive that provides privacy. The hot tub is spacious and has good views of the moonlit sky. Lastly the movie theater set-up with the arcade games was a great addition. I will say sometimes less is more when it comes to the technology in terms of the remote control setup for the movie theater. It seems like previous guests have a habit of changing settings that can compromise the next guests movie theater experience. All around the experience was one I'll never forget. Our only complaint was hair left in the master bathroom shower. The Great Smokey Mountains are absolutely beautiful and Gatlinburg is more intimate than anticipated given the number of tourists that flock there. Anakeesta is a must as it provides the best bang for your buck. What made the trip that much better was returning to this cabin. Id recommend it for any couple, family or group of friends.

Perfect Location

Cabin was clean and very comfortable. My teenaged grandsons loved the theater room and game console. The location was perfect. Close to town and there was a grocery store minutes from the property. The absolute highlight was seeing a bear twice while relaxing on the front deck. Would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent cabin with amazing amenities

When we go on family vacations, we always rent a house/cabin so we can all be together and this place is the best one we've stayed in. It was super clean with plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware. There was plenty of room for all of us and the video games and community pool were a huge hit with the kids. The Welcome Package was informative and listed everything we needed in one place. Andrew and Heidi were great at communicating when we had questions or comments. I would highly recommend this property and the owners to anyone looking for a great getaway in Gatlinburg.

Beautiful property, and amazing family friendly environment

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin with our family. I highly recommend this property. Minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, and a short scenic drive to pigeon forge and other surrounding attractions. Owners are easy to work with and communication was effortless.

Gorgeous cabin

This cabin had everything we could have asked for. On a dead end road so you have some privacy. Perfect for families or even separate couples. Sleeping arrangements on all three floors. The owners were very responsive and very kind. 10/10 would recommend.

Outstanding property, outstanding hosts

This is the perfect getaway in the mountains - a beautiful, superclean and well-stocked home situated in a quiet loghome community in the woods, but still close to all the hiking and town interests anyone would be interested in. Our stay couldn't have been better - the hosts were extremely attentive and responsive and provided everything to make our stay comfortable and worry free - terrific beds and bedding, great towels, lots of entertainment (home theatre, Galaga, etc), well-stocked kitchen with good appliances, I could go on and on! We especially appreciated the house instructions sent out ahead of time, which were really comprehensive and helpful. (Be sure to read them if you rent this house, they cover virtually all your questions!) We'll definitely stay here again!

Great cabin in a great location!

This was our first time in Gatlinburg and really enjoyed our stay at the Gray Fox Den. The cabin was exactly as described online and in pictures, and the hosts were responsive, informative, and made the whole process very seamless. I also found the location to be great, which was just east of downtown Gatlinburg yet only a short drive off the main road to the cabin.
