We really enjoyed our stay!!! The house was very clean, and it was a convenient location to town and Pigeon Forge. The hot tub was a nice added bonus to the stay also. Thorpe was very accommodating and communicated everything about our stay very well. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience

The chalet is nestled on the mountain, where it is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the warmth of the hot tub on the cool fall nights. The host provided a space that included all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay.

If you are looking for seclusion, this is your place. You can’t see any cabins close while sitting on the deck or hot tub. The place was very clean and spacious. Adria made the check in process easy and was prompt with responses while visiting. Be prepared that there are a lot of curves getting up to the mountain chalet. I would recommend coming in the daylight the first day. Definitely follow the instructions for the trash and do not leave food in the car. We hadn’t seen a bear the whole trip, but once we were packing up leaving, the bear came to check things out. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back.

This property was just what my husband an i were looking for to spend our anniversary. Everything was as described and the bed is SO COMFORTABLE! Cute little touches throughout. Hot tub was very relaxing and private which I really appreciate. We also saw multiple bears everyday, it was awesome! The drive up the mountain does have some sharper bends but that’s to be expected! Would stay again for sure!

The cabin was as advertised in the listing. The bed is new and super comfortable with very good sheets and pillows. There was a nice welcome plate with snacks, popcorn, and hot chocolate, which were very nice and all the amenities were as advertised. The air-conditioning and hot tub both worked great. The combination of the AC and the house fans made sure we were totally comfortable at all times.The washer dryer and dishwasher all worked as expected with no issues. The pool table was fun while having coffee in the morning and watching the news.If you want a secluded cabin in the woods that is not too far from town then this place is great for the price.

Great getaway

Overall excellent stay. Very clean, very well kept, excellent communication from the host. Easy to follow instructions for check in check out. Great summery for drive to and from there is some steep mountain roads. All very well taken care of amenities. Highly recommended for a getaway to the mountains with privacy.

Great getaway

This chalet was perfect for me and my husband. Very comfortable seating and bed. The drive up is steep and narrow, I'd recommend making the trip in daylight the first time. Well stocked kitchen area, and we enjoyed playing pool.

Big Grins and Bears

Charming Chalet! Extremely clean and inviting with lots of little extras to make you feel very well cared for. We saw at least 1 bear daily- on our last day we saw three cubs and their mama. Communication with Adrina is outstanding and the view at night will not disappoint. The beds and linens are very comfy and the hot tub was wonderful. Thank you Adrina for sharing your chaket with us.

Just relaxing in BEAR nature

After reaching the top of a mountain- we reached this quiet little getaway nestled in the woods. There is this big comfy bed- made for a good nights rest. We cooked all our own meals- used the charcoal grill- it was like being at home, except for the bears. We were so excited to see a mamma bear and her cubs in the driveway. They payed no mind to us- it was an awesome experience. ROKU was nice for down time in bedroom and living room. What made my stay- the hot tub on an outdoor deck overlooking the mountains- breathtaking and relaxing. This location is close to everything we wanted to visit in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Host was very gracious and kept us informed of everything we needed for a great stay. Property had everything we needed. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

Weekend getaway

This place is amazing. If you don’t mind driving up the mountain and some steep hills then this is a perfect getaway for you and your spouse or family. It was about a 10 minute drive to Gatlinburg and you are literally right beside Ober mountain it’s only about a 4-5 minute drive. We did see a few bears right near our cabin but that is expected this time of year in this area so you have to make sure you leave your car doors locked and no trash or food in it or outside unless you put it in the bear proof garbage bin but our host had great Instructions in the cabin on what to do and how to prepare for any bear encounters. Overall this was a great place to get away for me and my wife. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would definitely stay at this location again

Great place. Very comfy and clean.

Great get-away, everything was clean and functioned as it should. Had a nice bear come down the hill and visit while i was having my coffee, i slowly walked back toward porch and observed from front door. Road to chalet can be a little intimidating to someone not familiar with the mountains, drive slow and its just fine. Host made it very clear about the driveway which is steep yet very manageable with a moderate sized vehicle. 5 stars for sure!

Overall good

Property was clean and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. Only downside was the hot tub cover was difficult to put back on due limited space and it being strapped down entirely on one side Pool table not really usable due to space around it.

Indiana getaway

Beautiful view, but difficult drive. Owner warnned about driving direction but even with printed directions and GPS missed turns more than once. If you can manage the mountain Drive it is a beautiful location
