"The Whittier Cabin" is a custom built, authentic log cabin overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains, the city of Gatlinburg and Ober Mountain Ski Resort. It's constructed in the Appalachian tradition, featuring 12" hand hewn logs with dove tail joinery and exposed beams, anchored by a handcrafted woodburning fireplace that's finished in local mountain stone. Appointed with Old Hickory furniture, as featured in the great lodges of the American West, it's a warm and inviting place to pass the time

One of the more unique features is the 10-person dining table beside the fireplace, a perfect gathering spot with family and friends. It's in a prime Chalet Village location, about 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
