”I loved the parking and the quaintness. The value for the money was definitely worth it. The room was very clean. The check in was seamless and I like that it is privately owned by a family.
The downside is when I arrived the TV was on loud, I thought maybe housekeeping kept it on while cleaning but once I got completely moved in and settled I turned the TV off only to hear the screeching AC unit. I could have complained or asked to be moved but I’m disabled and the last thing I wanted to do...

”We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend.”

”This was one of my favorite hotels I have stayed at! From check-in to check-out the experience was seamless. We were greeted by the staff immediately upon pulling in and they showed us to our room and made check-in very easy. The peaceful setting right on the river was a dream. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Smoky Mountains/Gatlinburg area.”

”All the pros: 1. Very clean, fresh-smelling room! 2. There was a printed-out TV channel guide in the room, which is something I see less and less of, so it was appreciated and made finding cartoons a breeze. 3. When we needed extra towels, the staff was friendly and quick getting them to us. 4. The elevators are glass, so you can see the mountains as you ride! 5.
