”It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The town itself is super cute, but the hotel is even more charming. There’s a cozy fireplace in the lobby and outdoors, plus a lovely garden with fountains and roses. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and parking very convenient. Thank you, Wine Valley Inn, for your wonderful hospitality. Tip for travelers: plan your drive to or from Santa Barbara during the daytime so you can enjoy the lake views and stop at the CachumaMuseum ”

”I like how the staff was easily accessible when needed. The pool was just outside of our room. I love the location of the place because it was in the middle and can just walk to the local shops and restaurants!!!”

I followed all the pre-check in instructions but still had to call upon arrival for my door code. Staff was kind of rude and the process was a hassle. ”

”Pros: room was clean, plenty of towels and outlets, beds were comfortable and comforters soft, front desk was great, pool and hot tub looked clean, fresh pastries from Olsen’s bakery Fri-Sun mornings! Cons: these took away from the “excellent” experience but could be remedied easily: towels were kind of old and frayed, shower needs a non-slip mat (high tub edges would be hard for unstable people to maneuver and not slip), coffee accessories lacking decent amount of creamer, pool looks a bit...

”We just needed a clean, safe place to sleep for the night. Outdated, rough around the edges. Sheets rough, only 2 pillows. But compared to other properties that were over $320/night, this was just fine.”

”Loved this place. Room was spacious and relaxing. As there was a couch and alcove that was curtained off so no clutter in the room. As check in is online the only staff we saw was a woman sweeping up the leaves in front of the rooms. She was very helpful and friendly.”

The cleanliness of the hotel was 10/10. The outdoor relaxation area was beautiful and perfect for guests traveling with their dogs. I would definitely stay here again.”

”The only downside to my stay was that the pool is not open to everyone; when traveling as a family with children, this really falls short of what one would expect from a resort of this caliber. Furthermore, entertainment options for minors within the resort are virtually non-existent—unlike at comparable resorts in Las Vegas, for instance.
