Gawarammana Hotellit

”The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside. ”

”Very welcoming and friendly hosts, and a delicious breakfast! The room was spotless and the location was perfect — close to everything while still being a lovely and peaceful place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay!”

”Decent property or a short stay. The dining experience was good. Close to Nuwara Eliya town centre but not walkable. Considering the fact the area is a hill station with cold/colder weather conditions, the room(s) need a better heating setup that can make the visitors feel comfortable inside the room.”

”The room was spotless, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were lovely! I'll be sure to drop by again! ”

”Room was large and beds very comfortable. Hot water ran out in the morning so cold shower for friend. Food was varied and tasty at breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful”

”Staff was courteous. Breakfast was good. There was no hot water available until I asked them about it. Overall stay was good but I felt pretty cold in the night”

”Room was spacious and nice. Welcoming 5 min massage was great and full body massage for fair price was very good. Whirlpool in sauna area was under maintenance. Service in restaurant was very bad. We ate their twice, both 15 min nobody cared about us, then once ordered nothing happened another 20 minutes, not even drinks came. Second day for breakfast same experience. Food though was good and prices fair. Definitely they have service issues in their restaurant.”

”We enjoyed our stay at Tea Plant, with a very spacious room offering a lovely view — thank you again for the upgrade. Dinner was also good and generous. However, the hotel really needs some refurbishment (leaks, worn furniture), and the staff could be a bit more professional”

”Nice hotel, we stayed 2 nights and walked around the little city. Nights were cool but there was warm blankets so we slept very well. Helpful and friendly staff.”

”We stayed just for a night as a stopover drive from arugam bay to Ahungalla. We had the family room which has two bedrooms, one with 2× double bed and the other 1x double bed. Had a fridge/freezer and a living room. No air conditioning but wasn't needed as the weather was already cold in nuwara Eliya. Breakfast included offered western (sausages, toasted bread and eggs)or srilankan food (dosa, sambal, eggs). Offered fruita and juice. Great location very high up on the mountain with a nice view...

”Amazing property. Beautiful location. Well maintained and situated perfectly to take advantage of the natural surroundings. Rooms clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked including umbrellas mounted outside the door.”

”Prarthana and the staff was very professional and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast next morning. Views were amazing from our room. Location is beautiful and very conveniently close to the tea lounges and Nuwara Eliya town. Room is very clean and comfortable. ”

”静かな環境の中、ホテルのスタッフの皆様も非常にフレンドリーで、自宅にいるようにくつろげました。暑いスリランカの中で涼しく、それまでの暑さでばてていた体調をリフレッシュすることができました。ありがとうございました。”

”Stayed here for 1 night but it was absolutely delightful! The staff was very hospitable, the amenities were great, location of the hotel relative to the touristy attractions was fantastic. The breakfast was a la carte but on point, room was decent sized and clean too. Gave us nothing to complain about. 9/10 and would highly recommend.”
