”Hotel Hive was perfect for a short stay in Washington, D.C. to see the tourist sites and monuments. ”Staff at the front desk greeted me warmly. When I shared that it was my first time staying at the hotel (and I visit Washington DC about 12 times a year), I received an automatic upgrade! Free Peleton in the room allowed me to workout in the morning before a full day of meeting. the coffee in the room was SUPERB! "Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that. Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to Georgetown, decently safe although some shady people in the streets nearby. If you're considering taking this as a base to explore Georgetown, I'd recommend you to think again. "
