”The high corporation should not rent out rooms in this property. Wow it is undergoing such extensive in major renovation. The smell of fresh paint and the haze of dust everything made the stay untenable. The sound of the air conditioning fan was reminiscent of a jet aircraft landing. We seriously thought there was a plane or a big truck outside our window. And mentioning window, our view was some guys ankles on the scaffolding which in circled the entire building it was evident that they only...

”The property is old but clean. The parking is easy. Didn’t do breakfast so no input on that. Bed was comfortable. Nice working fridge. Had trouble with the shower not draining and they fixed it right away. Easy to get to, right off the highway. Would stay there again.”

”I stayed for two nights. The room was not cleaned, no new towels etc. The light bulb in the lamp controlled by the wall switch was burned out. There was no brochure listing local resturants and other ammenities that are usually found in motels. There was no in- room coffee maker and the iron was missing. There was no dresser to put clothes. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet.”

”Hotels should be forced to add a banner that says ‘under renovation’. I know most hotels would get 0 bookings, but instead the hotels and Expedia deceive guests about the nature of their stays which is almost always based on reviews that happened when there were no renovations going on. You can include in the banner renovation hours and which floors are not affected. And explain you’re charging 75% of normal and comparable rates. What you should never do is lie. ”Room clean except for shower walls/floors visibly unclean with what appeared to be permanent brown stains. Shower door would not stayed closed (broken). Stair well was dirty. Breakfast was a kinda pitiful but it appear other guests enjoyed making their own waffles. Gym was a joke - basically equipment in a closet that could only be accessed from outside - definitely not safe.”
