”The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner.”

”The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out...

”Our trip started with a beautiful greeting at the front door and a quick and easy check-in whisking us up to our room with our belongings. The room was beautiful and well prepared as well as extremely clean. We were excited to use the pool and found that all the amenities within the location were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The staff are really what make this place, from the gal who was vacuuming the rugs to the managers. Everyone in between is so kind and courteous. Lots of options...

”Hotel policy, they required to provide Driver license and enter my personal Identification in their system, even they have my Expedia booking and credit card info. I don’t know how secure with the hotel storing system, I am worry that my personal ID is sold to the third party or third country for criminal activities like fraud and scams. For this reason I will not book for this hotel again or refer it to anyone”

”Massive construction, no internet, difficulty with volume on tv, no swimming pool now, no ice machine, breakfast in a paper bag, only one person at desk. The building should not have been open during construction!!!”

”Parking was easy. Room was very clean, odor free, and seemed to be newly renovated. Did not have coffee maker. The walls must be very thin as we were disturbed all night by noisy guests in the adjacent room. To their credit, they did quiet down, but continued talking all night, which we could here through the walls. No sleep for us.”

”A cute little motel. Very clean and comfortable. Close to everything. The hosts very friendly and helpful. The only critique we had was the pillows. They were very thin, and even 2 together they were not comfortable. New pillows would make a very big difference.”

”You get what you pay for - a basic room. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. Cons were that the noise bleeds heavily from the road out front and the hallways. I couldn't turn off the porch light either and the light really comes through the blinds. There was also a spat between other patrons at about 1am (that can't really be blamed on the motel) but it was quite loud and kept me awake.
