Overall okay, fridge is a good size, airfrier, coffee machine were nice touches but theres. very little bench space to put them on. Bathrooms mostly okay, beds comfy and a short walk to the water. There was only 1 set of keys and no garage remote so you have to get out the car, unlock the security door then the front door, disarm the alarm, walk round to the garage, unlock that security door and press the panel inside the garage to get the car in. Its incovenient at best. The advert listed a drier. There isn’t one. And the washing line only had a few rusty pegs so we needed to go buy pegs as things didnt dry well inside. The ‘Carrier’ a/c units in 2 rooms didnt work. They were on at the outdoor wall and batteries in remotes worked but the units didnt. It wasn’t too hot so we managed without them. Towel sizes are really small, I’d recommend packing your own. The recliner sofas are comfy but are jammed in a line against one wall with curious signs saying ‘do not move the furniture for security reasons’ which means you can’t see each other to chat and they dont recline.

All the online reviews I read were extremely complimentary. Now I see why! The house is large, comfortable, and the little extras like tea, coffee, bathroom accessories kitchen tools etc were very thoughtful and useful. Loved the location too! One gripe only - the fence immediately behind the 4 bedrooms is incredibly noisy during the night, banging and rattling in the wind. Nothing the host can do about that I suspect but it’s impactful. Still not enough to ruin the stay though! We’ll be back I’m quite sure.

We didn't meet the host. Only corresponded via message. The host was, however very helpful and supportive of our suggestions. The home was very comfortable and spacious. It was close to downtown Geraldton. If we visit Geraldton again we would definitely stay there again.

BE WARNED: This property has installed surveillance cameras INSIDE the property (lounge room, concealed behind the couch directed into the room between the seats) which is not disclosed in the property description and therefore in contravention of the Vrbo/Stayz privacy policy and a complete breach of trust. We contacted the owner to query these cameras (which I suspect also record audio) to confirm if/where any other hidden cameras were placed and were told it was for "peace of mind to guests and herself" and to "monitor the recording equipment" but "indoor spaces used by guests are not monitored" which we struggled to believe, especially considered there was a motion detection security alarm installed. The trust was immediately broken and we did not feel comfortable for the remainder of our stay but could not find anywhere else at short notice. Surveillance equipment aside, this home is clean & spacious, beds are comfortable, towels and linen were mostly clean and close to town. Had it not been for these factors, the house would have received a 0/1 out of 5. However, some of the neighbours looked somewhat dodgy, the plastic cutlery in the kitchen and the absence of a garage door remote (meaning we had to go in through the front door to open the garage from the inside the house then drive our car in) were an annoyance but easily remedied if the owner cares to.

Very Clean and Spacious

We enjoyed our stay at Rocklyn’s property. It was very clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was also the perfect location for us, just a short walk to the foreshore!

Fairly comfortable & spacious though we found the kitchen area a bit cramped.There was quite a bit of noise from neighbours on the first night & we were concerned about our truck & tools but ok after that. Close to shops, eateries & beach.

Family holiday

The house was fantastic and the amenities were great. Only thing is the security alarm would go off everytime you were near it and wouls set the neighbourhood dogs off late at night.
