”The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

”Ok renovations made the feel and environment look inviting staff was pleasant breakfast was great (hot food) Let’s talk about the bed eh!!! Our room mattress was substandard (not awful) but much to be desired. Walls of our room were paper thin we heard every peep from room on either side and the family above felt like they were coming thru the ceiling (not the family’s fault they weren’t doing jumping jacks or running around) Toilet ran all night handle kept getting stuck Location was perfect...

It seemed to be an older Victorian type home that was turned into a Bed and Breakfast with a curb appeal with a lawn and flowers and Rocking chairs on the wrap around porch. We check in with Hazel who was warm and pleasant and friendly. ”If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....
