”Great ambiance in a historic house with modern conveniences. Additionally it was a great deal economically especially as compared to the hotels nearby.”

”Staff is friendly and willing to offer recommendations of nearby places to visit. Establishment was clean and well maintained. They have a beautiful display of live plants throughout the lobby providing a lovely welcoming feeling. I appreciated their large display of menus of nearby restaurants. If I visit Gettysburg again I will be using this location again.”

”OK, this is not a fancy hotel. But for what I paid, I thought I got excellent value. The place was clean. My room was very comfortable. The staff was outstanding and helpful. There was a pet fee, but it wasn’t much None of these are always true when you say stay at a lesser priced motel, but I thought the Super eight in Gettysburg delivered excellent value for the price charge and I would highly recommend it. They are a superstar at this level of hotel and I’ve stated a lot of of Super eight...

”The floors made our feet turn black from needed cleaned, but everything else was fantastic. We are actually going to come back this fall and stay here!! Thank you!”

”It is an older property, but was clean. We parked right in front of our room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great; convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions.”

”Spilled some water and wiped it up with one of their white towels which ended up not being white afterwards, disgusting. Their breakfast shows hot food like eggs and sausage which there was none. Staff member told me that's only on the weekends. All they had was lots of carbs. Had 2 cars in the parking lot with flat tires and the lawn desperately needed mowing.”

”I already recommended this to other friends who were very happy to hear of this gem of a place to stay. From Paul at the desk to the cleanliness of the room and the room was huge. Wonderful breakfast not a complaint in the world.”

”The place was quaint but tired, floor creaked and a/c basically didn’t cool the room. Felt safe and like parking right in front of room and the chair outside allowed some fresh air. However, I noticed that you have to pay to get ice from the ice machine and that’s just cheap. Also, the linens were threadbare, and the towels were sandpaper rough. For the price of the room, I expected more. A smart TV would have also been nice”

”Rooms were clean and spacious! Front desk staff very helpful! Didn't like loud doors closing in morning and late night....not the guests fault...just hard to close without making noise!”
