Hotellit kohteessa Giljahverfi, Akureyri

”Basic room. Close to the city center. Free parking, but very difficult to find. No ventilation (a common problem, as noted). The sliding door in the bathroom was out of place, not working. The neighbors' rampage outside was noticed because the room door SLAMMED shut. No staff, no breakfast. Perushuone. Lähellä keskustaa. Ilmainen parkkipaikka, mutta hirman löytää Ei ilmanvaihtoa (yleinen puute, näin todettu). Kylpuhuoneen liuovi pois paikaltaan, ei toiminut. Naapureiden ramppaaminen...

”Too short/small duvets and towels. Breakfast was probably one of the worst I have had in any hotel. Luckily I had time to go to the lounge and had proper breakfast there. ”

”Siisti, tilava asunto.

”The hotel was centrally located snd very walkable. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but the shower was a good size and it had a towel warmer !”

”Todella mukava omistaja pariskunta! Todella siistit yleiset tilat, suikuja ja vessoja useita! Suuri keittiö, jota saa käyttää. Iso parkkialue ja aivan keskustassa. Aamupala hyvä. Ei voi kun suositella. Kapseli hotelli myös hauska, erilainen kokemus. Husavik lähellä. ”

”Perinteinen hotelli, hintaan nähden hyvä.”

”Hotellissa tehtiin korjauksia, joka vähän vaikutti viihtyvyyteen. Aamupala riittävä, monipuolinen. Palvelu ystävällistä. Sijainti erinomainen. Luonto aivan vieressä.”

”Great”

”Our one night stay here was amazing. We wish we stayed longer! The view was so beautiful and the hot tub was so nice to use when staying up late to look for the northern lights. We saw a small glimmer! The cabin was spacious and clean. We would highly recommend this stay!”

”Huone oli vähän pieni, mutta siisti. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotellissa kiva oma ravintola. Hyvällä paikalla. Hinta ja laatu kohtasivat hyvin. Ei elämys, mutta kaikki tarpeellinen. ”

”Great property, fairly new so was wonderful to experience it. Beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable bed, lobby lounge is big with lots of seating areas, to enjoy a drink after a days adventures. All staff members were friendly, helpful and very happy to assist with any needs. The property is located in the town, but towards one end so it is quite. Easily walkable to restaurants and main shopping area, and the pier. There is ample parking nearby and easy access to the main highway.”

”Nice location within 5-10 minutes walking to Akureyri downtown. Ample street parking. The building exterior needs painting. The unit is updated with flooring, bathroom, and kitchens. However, it is a basement unit and the entrance to the unit is undesirable. You have to through a short side door and walking down into the basement.”

”Loved the hotel except there's no staff there to help you. You have to communicate the entire time online. No parking onsite and you have to park in a public lot a few blocks away. It wasn't too bad but slightly inconvenient. The only thing I would strongly suggest is to provide better sun blocking curtains. During the summer the sun and their street lights are not good to get sleep. Please provide better darkening curtains or shade. The location was exceptional though and would definitely...
