”Becky and Chip are superb hosts. Becky responded to all my questions and was most helpful. The accommodation is a suite with a full kitchen. It is one of the few kitchens that could accommodate just about anything that you might like to cook. The living room was very comfortable. After a long drive, the sofas were much appreciated. There were little things that most hosts don't include that I think should be called out. There was / were 1. a welcome note, which shocked me. The note...

”This truly is a gem, an oasis away from home, with a waterfall right in your backyard. The cottage is clean, wonderfully decorated, and well maintained. The description is accurate, with the bedroom in the lower level, walking down a metal spiral staircase. The view is spectacular, and very tranquil. Also the host puts out a wonderful complimentary snack basket, and a bottle of wine in the frig for guests to enjoy, which is so thoughtful.”

”The breakfast was really good, with a nice serving and a very tasty food. The maintenance of the room would be much better, we needed to replace some bulbs, some handles and racks were broken (not critical but not pleasant experience), pool which was kind of attraction just closed for season (c’mon, end of September, daily temperatures more than 70, for some northern countries it’s just summer!). But place was clean (daily cleaning) and bed was good enough. We liked the nice people working...

”We had booked this for an overnight stay during a road trip. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the fact that we booked this specifically because there was a hot tub and a pool, and unfortunately the hot tub was out of service. Given the dust on the note saying “do not enter”, it looked like it was possibly out of service for some time.”
