”Lovely boutique style hostel. Great bang for your buck. Parking was difficult in the sense that nobody was quite sure of the rules of the area. We found amd paid for overnight parking nearby. ”

It was a tad too hot the first evening as I assume the AC was not turned on during the day of arrival. It did cool down for the rest of the stay.

”The building is old, well cared for with rustic - with character. The bed was comfortable and the room had a small sink. Toilet and shower are communal and I found them to be very clean. There isn't a coffee maker in the room but they bring out coffee in the hallway. There is a wonderful bagel bakery on the same block with coffee if you need it earlier.
I'd definately stay here again but if you want all the usual comforts of a hotel, this is not the place. If you are flexible, it's a fun place...
”This hotel has personality! The rooms are quirky (but that’s Portland, right!)...but very clean and tidy. The location is perfect and staff very helpful and polite. The shared bathrooms are clean and there are plenty of them. Enjoyed my stay!”

”Nice little hotel in downtown Portland. Quiet and had a nice bed an pillows. Cleaning if you wanted and coffee and grab and go - breakfast was a nice gesture. ”

I got an upgrade with status on my room, which I didn’t expect, so it was on the top floor and newly remodeled. Very clean and comfortable.
