”This is a beautiful property and we have stayed here once before. Overall the staff was very nice and helpful. We were not happy with the check in procedure. The app says 3pm check in. Their actual check in is at 4 pm. As we waited patiently in the lobby for almost an hour we were a little surprised when a couple came in at 3:50 pm and were checked in. No acknowledgment that we were there first or any interaction until we made the effort to get checked in. Even so , we highly recommend this...

”People were absolutely awesome at the Good Place B&B. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. ”

”The room this week and last week were both clean. Last week the AC was not working in the room and it got quite warm. This week everything was perfect and the front desk staff told me that all of the rooms AC have been reviewed and are now working properly.”

”Parking was well lit, close and ample. Our room was very clean, bright and comfortable. While the hotel proper held beautiful elements of it's almost 200 year history, the rooms themselves were basic Hampton Inn variety. It didn't bother us in the least. Breakfast was about what one would expect from a Hampton Inn. I found the choice for kielbasa sausage as a meat option, versus bacon and breakfast sausage, a little odd for breakfast, but it was good. I wish they'd had grits or biscuits...

”Breakfast was what we expected - basic continental breakfast. Room was decent but the bathroom wasn’t clean when we checked in. Overall convenient - right off the highway, plenty of parking. Good for a quick overnight stop on a long roadtrip. ”

”The room was clean and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that the fitness center had equipment that was not working. There was only one cable machine with multiple sections, all of which were broken. There were only a few dumbbells.”
