This unit did have a very nice view of Lake Michigan from atop a steep and high hill. It was surrounded by trees, located nearly at their tops. The location of the unit was not easily accessible to any entry to the lake. We had to drive several miles to the public access near the closest town.Checking in, we could not locate the parking passes that were required for parking. A host/worker brought us 2 passes the next day.Two of the windows were cranked open when we arrived, and we could not crank them closed. The cranking handles were stuck. Also, the water pressure for the showers was quite low.Sadly, we abandoned our unit a day early because the area was experiencing a heat wave, and the unit did NOT have air conditioning. This was, to be honest, clearly stated in the property description. We disregarded it because we thought we were tough! It was too hot to sleep, and when smoke from the wildfires in Canada started drifting in and everyone was advised to stay in air conditioned spaces for health reasons, well...In all, the unit was very small which was perfect for 2 people. The kitchen things all worked. It was nice and clean and tidy. Again, the view was gorgeous.
