Foxwood - Glen Arbor-Crystal River-Pet ok-takka

Tämä upea pieni mökki, joka on käytettävissä ympäri vuoden tarjoaa paljon charmia aivan "downtown" Glen Arbor. Asettaa tarina kirjassa metsässä ja aivan kadun päässä Crystal-joen se ei saa mitään parempaa kuin tämä. Talon kannen puolella on hiljainen ruokailu ja rentouttava metsäinen näkymä ja satunnaisten hirvieläinten ja ketun pilkkominen kun rentoudut ja syödä kannella. Jos vierailet syksyllä tai talvella, kiristä kirja ja lasillinen viiniä kaasutakka edessä. Niin viihtyisä et halua lähteä.

Foxwood on äskettäin päivitetty ja siinä on 2 makuuhuonetta sekä pieni parvi lapsille ja 1 kylpyhuone kylpyammeella suihkukombilla. Prime Summer viikolla lauantaista lauantaihin. Lyhytaikaiset oleskelut ovat joskus sallittuja alkupäivänä, mutta talletuksia ei veloiteta varauksista, jotka ovat alle 7 yötä, jotka on varattu verkkoon, kunnes Visit Up North vahvistaa seuraavan varauspäivän seuraavana arkipäivänä. Saapumisen ja / tai lähtöpäivän on varattava nykyisiin varauksiin ja / tai alkaa / päättyy lauantaina. Muisto- ja työpäivän viikonloput vaativat kolme yötä.

Nukkuu jopa 5 ja 1 kuningatar, 1 queen ja parivuode tarjotaan parvella. Syö keittiössä astianpesukone ja kaikki mitä tarvitset aterioiden valmistamiseen. Kävele ulos kannelle keittiöstä. Keittiössä on myös suljettujen ovien takana oleva pesukone / kuivausrumpu. Puulattiat läpi ulos.

Avoinna ympäri vuoden
 Nauti kauniista kristallijokin koskemattomasta vedestä mukana toimitetulla kanootilla. Swing ulos joen "puu" swing. Kick takaisin värikkäissä Adirondack-johdissa ja firepitissä, jotka ovat vain muutaman askeleen päässä kotioveltasi.
Kävele Riverfront Pizza, Western Avenue Grill tai Boones tai maku paikallisia kirsikka viinejä Cherry Republic. Kaupunki sijaitsee vain 0,2 kilometrin päässä talosta. Päivittäistavarakauppa, lahjatavaraliikkeet ja kahvila ovat vain muutamia asioista, jotka tekevät vierailustasi helpon. Bike vuokraus on vain kadulla. Ei tarvitse ajaa "iso" kaupunkiin! Glen Arbor sijaitsee Lelandin ja Empirein välissä M-22-käytävän varrella. Matkusta pohjoiseen ja nauti pysähtyy Michiganin järvien rannalla. On hieno paikalla noin puoli kilometriä pohjoiseen Lake Michigan, joka on täydellinen paikka uida. Pyramid Pointin retkeilyreitit, paikallisten ruokailupaikkojen ja voileipäliikkeiden, maatilamarkkinoiden ja paljon muutakin ovat muutamia niistä monista mielenkiintoisista asioista, joita voit käydä. Matkustaa etelään Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Haven, Pierce Stocking Scenic ajaa sekä ravintoloita ja ostoksia. Traverse City on 30 minuutin päässä.

The cottage was perfectly located to downtown Glen Arbor. It was walking distance to the local restaurants, art galleries, and boutiques. The property provided privacy from neighboring homes and accessibility to Crystal River. Enjoyed a bonfire, a gas grill on site, and a fireplace while watching movies. Overall, a great stay! Can’t wait to return.

Great location! We took day trips to Grand Traverse Lighthouse, Historic Fishtown, Inspiration Point over Glen Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Empire Bluff trail and Stormcloud Brewery in Frankfort. Had a wonderful meal at Farm Club. The cabin is just far enough outside of town to feel secluded, but still within walking distance and has access to Crystal River. There are plenty of shops, grocery store and restaurants also within walking distance. The coffeemaker, microwave, washer/dryer worked great! You are responsible for dishes and I recommend washing whatever you plan on using. We ran the dishwasher before we left, but realized that we should have ran it the night before and put away all the dishes. We did not use the stove/oven/fireplace/grills/canoe/kayak/firepit, but you have access them all. The refrigerator and TV could use updating. The king bed was comfortable. The bathroom light only half worked and might need to be replaced. There is plenty of outdoor space for relaxing. This property is owned by a corporation. The welcome didn't feel as homey as other properties we've rented. The rental agreement is long and was difficult for me to submit. The property was clean and comfortable.

Such a beautiful cabin, inside and out! This is my second time staying here and I plan on coming back. Everything is what you need: spacious and clean kitchen, large bedrooms, roomy bathroom, cozy living area. The forested backyard and crystal river with campfire and seating in the front yard is every nature lovers DREAM. The worst feeling leaving here.

The cottage was very clean. Bed was comfortable and nice linens. Small "notes" helped with operation of electronics, plumbing, etc. The kitchen was nicely stocked and plenty of fresh towels. The Crystal River really is crystal clear. Right down the road to the Glen Arbor shopping district. Close to dunes and many many great trails. Small town. Very welcoming.

Good location, older house with issues

Glen Arbor is wonderful and a great base for a vacation up North. This property is older, very clean inside. The listing failed to note its very close proximity to a very busy road (22), something living under the house (rodent traps freshly placed all around the house), large pine tree fallen on the electrical wires at the driveway left untended the entire week of our stay, spotty internet, etc. the carefully worded description not mention the cottage is actually across the road from the river -- be careful if you have young children. The management company took the "you rented it, you live with it" approach --- very unhelpful and not what we expected for the premium price (and property description).

Perfect location for hiking the dunes.

Pro tip, the firepit is across the street lol, but its in a good spot.The house is right near downtown glenn arbor, four or so minutes from several main trail heads down the 109. The town has an upscale market, a pizza place and a few bar&grill locations. Everything youd need. House is walking distance from the downtown area. When we return, we will try to get this property again.

Good location for Glen Arbor Fun

We went up for a 4 day winter experience. We love hiking the Sleeping Bear dunes and snowshoeing and this location is very convenient. It is a cute cabin. The main bed was a little uncomfortable and could use better support I think. Fireplace was a great experience.

Good location, no canoe though

Location was within walking distance to downtown and could drive to a lot of places within 40min. We were disappointed that the canoe was locked to a tree and when we messaged the people, they too did not know where the key was and didnt offer to help fins it.

Most perfect cabin

Absolutely loved our stay! Perfect walking distance from downtown glen arbor but just far enough outside to be secluded. Crystal River was gorgeous and so clean. Cabin was clean and lots of space. Cant wait to stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! Proximity to town and our favorite beaches and hikes was perfect! Cooked a lot in the well equipped kitchen. and appreciated the gas bbq grill! Slept well in the comfortable beds. Really loved that we could bring our pup! Yard could use some tlc…

Cute Little Cottage in Great Location

We stayed in this cottage with our pug and had a great time. We had all of the necessities and the location was so close to everything in Glen Arbor. The only negatives were that the cottage could have been a little cleaner and it is on a busy road, with the river across the street (which we knew from the listing). There was still part of bar of soap on the windowsill in the shower and there was mildew on the window as well. The cottage is also a little tired looking and could use some updating. The king bed was very comfortable and we loved the circular driveway. Overall, it was a nice stay and we were really thankful we could bring our dog with us.

Close, simple, accommodating

We finished a week’s worth of vacation from up near Marquette by enjoying 2 days near the Dunes. We enjoyed what we could in Traverse City and Glenn Arbor with the time restraints were had and in-climate weather. The vacation home had all the necessary amenities to make our visit enjoyable. The best part was being able to bring our pets.

Great in town spot

Nice long weekend with the dog. Just what we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway. Walked to everything downtown. Watched deer and woodpeckers out back while doing a puzzle. Visited 3 beaches. Loved that there is a king sized bed.

Great Location in the Heart of Glen Arbor

Great cabin within walking distance to Lake Michigan and downtown Glen Arbor. River-side fire pit was also as-advertised and a nice space. The rental management company requires some excess paperwork, but they were responsive to all of our communications.

Nice location. The loft was pretty much inaccessible.due to the steepness of stairs. Weather could have been better. Can you work on that for next year? :-) Paperwork was too much for renting 5 days and not really intuitive.

Perfect location for Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Clean and well stocked. Very comfortable for our family of 5. The riverfront access is as scenic as advertised. We would rebook in a heartbeat

Holiday Get Away

We were looking for a quiet cabin experience for the new year. Absolutely enjoyed this trip, especially the proximity to Glen Arbor. We took walks daily into town and enjoyed riverside campfires. Property was as described. My only complaint is the internet. For the most part you could only use the internet if you were right next to router/modem, which is in the master. We were hoping to be able to stream football over the playoff weekend, and were unable to despite troubleshooting steps.
