The only issue was that the pool was under renovation, so was the bar and the WiFi wasn’t working. But we asked them to waive the resort fee since these amenities weren’t available and they did. ”

”Amazing stay at the base of Black mountain with rad amenities. Double hot tubs and sauna were incredible. Staff were wonderful. Super mellow vibes in a classic old school new England inn. Our room was on the smaller size, but with all the fun stuff to do between the on-site Shovel Handle Pub and literally being in the same parking lot as Black Mountain, you don't need to spend much time in there. ”Hot tub room was ok. Hot tub was an older model and was not very comfortable to sit in. We barely used it. Also we should have realized that it would make the room stink of chlorine. We had to sleep with the windows open. The bathroom also didn’t have a tub only a shower stall. I was not a fan of that especially since there was no warning of that in any of the photos on the website. Large room comfy bed otherwise. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Great location. ”Everything you need is on site. Restaurant, bar, arcade, pool, hot tub and gym. Rooms are very clean. They have pet friendly rooms for a fee which is very convenient. Staff is friendly. Highly reccomend!”
