”Wasn't to my standards of cleanliness. Found food stains on the headboard that could have been cleaned before making the bed. The floors were made of something like a shelfing paper. The breakfast was ok. Cereal, waffles, juice . Noticed a guy working on his car like he was in a bay at a service station but outside the motel. I would not stay there in the future. ”

”The property is beautiful. It's decorated so nice and the cabin was really clean and tidy. We loved the location. There is a fan above the hot tub and there is a bird's nest on the fan... So a heads up. We never got an email with info on the code to get in the door. We were able to make a call and get that info. We were not informed that the property is under a boil water advisory and were drinking the water!! That definitely should have been communicated ahead of time!!! We both have had tummy...

”This hotel opened its restaurant at 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, for breakfast for guests who were booked for a train excursion that boarded at 7 a.m. What excellent service. We talked to other people who had stayed at other local hotels and were told that some hotels did not alter their hours to accommodate this important event (the train ride to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States). Kudos to the Doubletree in Newark, Ohio.”
