”Pretty, short walking loop trail at the end of the road, by the river.
Dozens of large eels ("tuna", in Maori) in the little stream under the riad, next to the motel. They come quickly if you have bits of meat to trow in for them to eat. No catching/fishing, though!”

”The cottage is in a beautiful and peaceful location, and the surrounding nature is lovely.
However, our check-in experience was a bit stressful. We arrived around 5pm but were unable to reach the host initially. After some time, she called back and mentioned that she had forgotten to send the check-in instructions with the key information.
There were also quite a number of house rules and requirements after arrival that were not clearly stated on the booking page. For example, the washing...
