Huvilat – Gloucester

”Unfortunately we weren’t able to stay at the place we booked as my booking was lost and they were full. So cannot really review. One star given based on my booking being lost.”

”The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and with all the expected amenities. There were no staff on site (the key is left in a lock box). I stayed on Monday night, the restaurant is closed on Mondays (hence no interaction with staff). Unfortunately, I did not sleep very well at all due to the loudness of a generator which kept me awake all night. It felt as if I was sleeping inside a helicopter. I left the room early in the morning because I was fed up with the noise and I had...

”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located in a cute small town. There is a good car park and the hotelarea is beautiful. The room was OK size, but could use an update. The pub was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful :)”

”Room was lovely and clean and we had a modern bathroom. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and service was great. Parking was easy and cheap (6 pounds I think) and the property is gorgeous. We had a room upstairs which was fantastic, our friends had one down the corridor which was different and not as nice. The only thing was the bed - it was extremely hard and impacted our ability to sleep well. If there was a topper or a different mattress I would stay again in a pinch, or just stay...

”The Judges lodgings are in a great location for visiting Gloucester and nearby Cotswolds. The size of the apartment was perfect for our family and had all of the amenities required, even included shower gel, hand wash etc. The beds were not the most comfortable and we didn't bother using the single fold up bed. We were disappointed that there was no freezer in the apartment, which is useful when you are self catering. Also, we had 2 cars and parking was only available for one car. We paid for...

”When I checked in i went via the PUB entrance and the owner was a bit surprised to see an Indian family having booked into their century old pub. The pub itself is mazing, very well maintained with old beams and stones and cozy tables and corners. The rooms are on first and second floors with everything you can wish for. Large comfortable beds , sitting chairs, standing shower everything. The staff are helpful and polite and they offer a sumptuous breakfast( paid separately). Placed very...

”⭐⭐ Disappointing stay — facilities not worth the price Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel feels very dated and considering the price, I expected a much better standard of accommodation and facilities. There were also several issues with the room. The ground-floor window would not lock, which was concerning from a security point of view. The shower-to-bath setting didn’t work, and the bathroom extractor fan could not be switched off. It was extremely loud and kept...
