”We just got home after spending our honeymoon in Marblehead. The Hotel Marblehead is a great stay for anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, and quaint get away. They worked with us via phone/email to set up after hours check-in. Our rooms were cleaned/made up everyday upon request. There is off street parking and I would highly recommend you take advantage of it. They do give breakfast/meal vouchers each day to a local business called the "Muffin shop." ”POSITIVES: Breakfast choices were reasonable for a continental breakfast Beds were comfortable but our room was in the process of being renovated Staff was helpful NEGATIVES: - The property is a MOTEL (not a hotel) and this is clearly stated on the sign leading to the property - There is NO RESTAURANT on site despite the Expedia ad saying there is - The motel is located next to a very busy highway on one side and a much quieter street on the other. Our room was on the busy highway side...

”Lovely room in a historic house downtown Rockport. Close to the headlands, shops, restaurants, beaches, and theater. Friendly professional staff, clean rooms beautifully decorated, quiet & relaxing. On site parking made the visit completely stress free. Will be back soon !”

”The display is for a nice and remarkable hotel however they add the name motor lodge to the room for which you are accommodated in a separate entity not related to the hotel in the pictures which is a terrible, cheap and smelly cabinet. At first sight I thought it was like an indoor garage for cars next to the hotel. I found this confusing and deceiving and I believe these properties should be separated on the website. It was a very disappointing experience.”

”We only stayed one night, but we were obsessed! The property was gorgeous and the rooms were so cute, clean, and the beds were cozy. We were disappointed we didn’t have more time and discussed booking it again for a whole weekend! It was dif type of check in than I was used to, but went so smoothly. Having a room with a keypad was extremely convenient too! We loved it!”
