The cozy, well-furnished “Ruhetal” basement apartment invites you to enjoy a relaxing vacation in the spa town of Glücksburg.
The path to the vacation apartment leads across the private sun terrace. Here you can enjoy the sun during the day and
relax and reflect on the day’s experiences in the evening.
Upon entering the apartment, you’ll be greeted by a view of the spacious living room. Here you’ll find seating,
as well as a TV and dining table.
Adjacent to the living room is the open sleeping area with a cozy box-spring bed.
The apartment also features a second bedroom with two single beds. The bedrooms offer the perfect retreats for you and your traveling companions.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking together with your family.
A dishwasher is also provided. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, a mirror, and a toilet.
The vacation rental’s terrace is fenced in and accessed through a gate. There is a parking space for your car right in front of the gate to your vacation rental.

The Glücksburg skate park is a 5-minute walk away; especially if you’re traveling with older children, you should definitely make a note of the skate park as a place to visit. Here, children of all ages can really burn off some energy and improve their skills on skateboards or scooters.
The nearest shopping areas are about a 15-minute walk away; on the way, you’ll pass Glücksburg Castle and the castle pond.
The Glücksburg sailing harbor is right nearby, and the Fördeland Therme Glücksburg is a 5-minute drive or about a 25-minute walk away.
Glücksburg is situated directly on the Flensburg Fjord, along the beautiful Baltic Sea Coastal Bike Path.

The Flensburg Fjord—and Glücksburg in particular—offers many great outdoor experiences that you shouldn’t miss. The little ones will have a blast riding ponies at the riding stables. Experienced horse lovers will get their money’s worth on a horseback ride along the beach. How about playing mini-golf on a family outing, or maybe spending the afternoon with the kids at the skate park?
Passionate golfers will find opportunities to play a round of golf with panoramic views of the fjord. In Glücksburg, you’ll find countless opportunities to create wonderful vacation memories.
Surrounded by forests, lakes, and the fjord, the region is perfect for hiking and biking. Beach lovers won’t be disappointed either—there are two different swimming beaches: the Sandwig resort beach, with a cozy promenade and various restaurants, and the long beach on the Holnis Peninsula.
Both beaches have a gentle slope and are ideal for children. Both stand-up paddleboarding and surfing are available.
Beach chairs are also available. Another lovely outing is a boat ride to the port city of Flensburg. There, numerous cafés, restaurants, and the charming shopping street with its small backyards invite you to linger. In the summer, the boat departs several times a day from “Sandwig” Beach.
