”The pictures of the property are either from another location or from very early on when it was last renovated, I requested 1st floor and didn’t get that. Bed sheets were stained, bathroom was dirty, door to the room would only shut with force. I didn’t expect much with the low cost of the room I guess you get what you pay for! I was woken up to a prostitute knocking on my door at 2am offering services.”

”I had my doubts to book here, because of the reviews I had read previously, but my experience was as follows. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, some old facilities but everything worked well. The breakfast is very limited, it would be good if they added more things. It worked very well for one night.”

”The reception told I would get a quiet room that I had requested upon booking. Eventually, my room was right on top of the main entrance where I could hear all the cars leaving their guests to the hotel. There was also a small playground facing my room. The noise was even worse because the door of my balcony couldn't be closed completely. Sound proofing in my room was also very poor and I could hear my neighbors and people walking on the aisle. There was also smell of smoking coming into my room...

”We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with.”

”We needed a room with two beds. When we searched on Expedia, we used the filter that allows you to search for a hotel room with two beds. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that there were only rooms available with one bed. We were also told that it is the fault of Expedia that the Expedia website leads one to believe that there are two beds when there is actually only one.”

”This was a well kept resort. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved our room location and layout. Top notch restaurant and quality hotel. We also enjoyed the meals and view of the golf course. We definitely will come back again. Thank you.”

”Journee the front desk clerk was amazing and helpful. The bathroom is tiny the head boards have rips and tears, the pool or the restaurant wasn't open. I was doubled charge and the parking garage was close- so there was no unlimited use”

”Clean and good-sized rooms. Nice pool and very comfortable beds. The most outstanding feature was the chef and the breakfast. Chef Nell and Edwin were wonderfully welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was great. Other staff were just OK. Reception desk seemed stressed and/or under-staffed. Housekeeping did not attend to our room at all during our 2-night stay and we had to request towels twice. But overall excellent value and would recommend to others.”
