Huvilat – Godalming

”Gorgeous pub, lovely food. Great service. Our room was at the top of the staircase and above the kitchen. We were kept awake at night with people going to their rooms and woken early with noise from the kitchen staff, doors and deliveries, for this reason we would unlikely stay again.”

”Check in and check out were simple and the staff were friendly. Possibly the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in - the pillows especially as they were rock hard. The room was quite hot but the staff were happy to provide us a sheet to use instead of the duvet (there was a fan but it was quite noisy so we didn’t use it). The curtains were great at blocking out the light. It would have been nice to have some non-dairy milk with the tea and coffee facilities in the room, as we did request it...

”Lovely hotel aesthetically speaking and clean but it’s a bit like mutton dressed as lamb; for the price I paid (£149 per night); I expected more. Whilst I appreciate it’s advertised parking is £18 every 24 hours; I really think that’s super greedy especially as I only needed parking from 2100-0800 each night. So I parked elsewhere and only spent £4. Breakfast is very low quality and could easily be made better with better quality produce and ingredients. I didn’t use the spa facilities as...

We truly enjoyed our stay and loved enjoying a non alcoholic draft beer in the garden overlooking the canal. Truly a beautiful place to unwind. We will be back!”
