Dear Kelly, I was surprised and a little disappointed by some of the comments you made in your recent review. Coral Waterfront is a family run holiday house and we take any negative comments very seriously. Since your last visit in 2019 (where you rated us 10/10) we have replaced all the windows and doors including adding Crimsafe screens and a new feature front door. We have also had a new electric carport door installed, as well as having the roof painted and solar added. We have purchased a new relaxed dining table and chairs on the large (upstairs) outside balcony so that our guests can enjoy looking out over the beautiful Gold Coast skyline views whilst eating. We haven't dramatically changed the downstairs outdoor dining area (except for adding a brand new BBQ a couple of months ago, and some new outdoor chairs) since your last visit, though we did replace all of the chairs in the inside dining area. Yes, the kitchen fridge is a bit old, but it is clean and works well. We have also added a second fridge adjacent to the kitchen in the laundry since your visit in 2019. The outdoor lighting is good on the upstairs balcony and over the pool area, but downstairs we will certainly look into upgrading that with some brighter lights. We usually leave the pool floats easily accessible as our guest with kids appreciate this. Thank you for your review. I am pleased that the location was perfect for you and the other families, and also that the house was comfortable for you all too. That is a great idea about the retractable gates for the stairs, I will definitely look into doing that as a matter of urgency.
