This property is well located, close to shops and dining. I realise it is an older property, it was chosen for its proximity to the convention centre. Plus, some of us had stayed at Mantra Sharks in Southport, very clean and comfy.
Pros - spacious, apartment, including a big kitchen which we didnât use. Friendly staff, who lent us umbrellas. Big en-suite bathroom. Comfy beds with block out curtains in bedroom. Cons - not cleaned properly before our visit, goop on granite en-suite benchtop, hair in shower, gum left under a foil square on a bedroom table. one bathroom had watery liquid soap, which ran out during our 4 day stay. We didnât complain, as topups were charged and we made do. Floors donât feel clean, maybe thatâs just Qld humidity. We did a load of washing, and it was covered in lint.
A shame, donât mind the well worn leather lounges, but the lack of cleaniness makes me think Iâll try another hotel next time.
