Super nice people working at the lobby, I couldn't have been more satisfied with the customer service day in and day out. The rooms were a bit worn down, but comfy beds and had everything you need. Legit option for the price.

Location was great in terms of walking distance to Surface Paradise which was nice. Parking at the Hotel was challenging at times but was able to get street parking. One lift to the South Tower needs repair as one was working even though it did stop working at one point and we could not get up to our room. Our room 524 was cozy, clean and had a nice view towards the ocean. However our neighboring room 525 which seemed to be a long stay guest was quiet noisy which made our stay unpleasant especially early mornings with the door banging any times, waking us up. Also voices coming from the room was very loud where you can hear the conversation to bellowing too. It also was like a child care centre where you can hear a child making a lot or racket as well. A bit more respect needs to come from long term guest staying at the Hotel just like how we were respectful during our stay and not making constant abrupt noise.

Lovely and clean, spacious room, pool and hot tub facilities. No overnight reception staff, restaurant closed during my stay, vending machines broken. Parking very limited, but I god lucky during the stay! Really nice place, will come back.

Love the location - easy access to trams and bus stops. My room was a bit aged, but still ok. Reception staff are lovely.

The hotel is easy to get to from the airport as the tram stop is very close. This also makes it easy to get around.

Property was quite dirty. Requested on several occasions for a fitted sheet to make 2 single beds a double bed but was denied on several occasions. Thought it was quite a reasonable request. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't book again.

I think the check in is difficult and puts the whole o us on the customer to do . At the same time it is confusing as the site lists phone no or email address but it’s a third party email address and it looks like you need both but u don’t . I am 65 and she is berating me because I did not pre check in and phone reception was poor so it was time consuming and frustrating The rooms are great . I asked the receptionist if they have parking . She said it’s around the corner but it’s First in best dressed . What if it’s full “ that’s your problem . I went to check out at

Well priced accomodation and facilities in line with this. The beds were average, no hairdryer or iron, and parking was unreliable ( half as many car parks as units, so parking was multiple block away).

Was nice, all I needed but needs handy man work carried out not only in my room but stand out side in the drop off area and look up. yuk and not long till that becomes a serious problem H&S. Oh I know you can not cater for all but the bed was extremely soft. Thanks heaps for the stay and I had a blast on the GC. Kind Regards Isobel

Lovely spacious rooms. They had everything I required for my stay. Loved the pool & outdoor area. The staff were excellent. Very pleasant & helpful. However I would like to be able to have a wine or a drink at the restaurant. I did find an empty water bottle under the bed when I was retrieving an earring I had dropped.

Sovereign Hotel
I have stayed at this hotel several times now. Staff are helpful, rooms great, the restaurant is now open again. Very close to the trams.

A great stay
Sovereign is a great stay, I usually stay here to visit friends and family on the gold coast, it is extremely well run, a lovely hotel and reasonably priced.

Nice comfortable clean accomodation
Was a very nice stay. Only thing was that the beds were on wheels on floor boards and there were no wheel locks. This meant that the beds were rolling around.

Staff need some lessons in customer service! No personality skills whatsoever not a hello how are you , Thankyou or anything remotely polite! Parking terrible don’t bother nowhere to do laundry like it says property had a shower curtain which made us feel dirty, musty smell in unit but no one there seemed to care they just turn up for a pay check sad the way the world is going.

Perfect stop over, wonderful friendly staff, comfortable room. Central to Surfers Paradise. Close to to the strip, a wonderful place to catch up with my daughter and her partner who live on the coast there.

Great place. We had a freshly renovated room that was spacious. Full size fridge and microwave were essential for us. Car park filled quickly if you weren’t back early from your day out.

Spacious bedroom and lounge, big verandah, Bathroom was spacious and would be nicer if it didnt have a bath tub shower. Poor Internet reception, nice large TV with no paid tv available, no replacement towels available, you have to pay extra if you want your room Cleaned, upgrade on gym station would be nice, pool, spa and sauna are great. Perhaps provide a vacuum for rooms that have people staying less than 8 days to allow housekeeping.
