Kicking Horse Cabin Retreat

Tämä idyllinen hirsitalo sopii erinomaisesti lomailuun, talvella, keväällä, kesällä ja syksyllä! Huomaa kesäaktiviteetteihin kuuluu gondoli vuoren yläpuolelle patikointiin ja maastopyöräilyyn sekä tuolihissi "Grizzly Bear Spa" -huvilaan. Lähellä ovat kalastus, golf, koskenlasku Grade 4-luokitellulla Kicking Horse -joella.

Olemme ylpeitä voidessamme tarjota ihanaa virkistyskoti, joka sijaitsee AWESOME ski-kukkulalla, Kicking Horse Mountain Resortista, joka on vuokrattavissa lyhytaikaisiin loma-tarpeisiisi. Tämä loistava sijainti tarjoaa hiihtää ja hiihtää majoitusta jännitystä varten ja sijaitsee kätevästi lähellä hiihtohissiä. Tämä log-pohjainen koti on upeat tuomiokirkon katot, joissa on kirjahyllyt yllin kyllin ja paljon valtavia ikkunoita kauniin ympäristön maksimoimiseksi. Pääkerroksessa on suuri täysin varustettu keittiö ja suuri ruokapöytä sekä aamiaisbaarisängyt. Pääkerroksessa on myös liuskekivikori, jossa on kaasuliesi ja oleskelualue.

Majoitus sisältää yläkerran, iso makuuhuone, jossa on oma parveke ja iso 4 kpl Master ensuite. Pääsaunassa yläkerrassa toinen makuuhuone, jossa on mahtavia lokakuuvuodeja - queen-size-vuode pohjalla ja kaksinkertainen yläpuolella. Myös yläkerrassa on suuri avoin rentouttava tila ja parvi, jossa on toinen kerrossänky, kaksinkertainen koko (myös päiväpeitteenä käytettäväksi TV / PS3-järjestelmällä) ja yhden hengen sänkyyn. Kellari tarjoaa ylimääräisen perääntymisen, jossa on suuri makuuhuone, jossa on suuri valoisa ikkuna ja kahden hengen kerrossänky. Toinen kylpyhuone (suihkuhuone) ja myös olohuone / TV-huone.

Upeat näkymät jokaisesta ikkunasta ja ulkoalueilla kannella, joka johtaa yksityisiin kahdeksaan ihmisen kylpylään, jota puut ympäröivät täydellisen loppuun asti.

Tämä on ihanteellinen sijainti, vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä paikallisilta pubeilta ja ravintoloilta, ja niille erikoisnäytöksille, ota gondoli vuoren huipulle ja nauti mahtavasta ruokailuelämyksestä, "maailman päällä" Eagles Eye -ravintola.

We loved the location and peaceful atmosphere. The spacious cabin offered just what we needed. The only downside was the wifi, which was extremely slow to nonexistent.

Absolutely fantastic house which we used as a base for part of our family trip through the rockies. Massive space, extremely clean & comfortable, very well equipped and lovely location. Host was extremely helpful so would highly recommended.

Group of 4 couples who get together each year for an annual ski trip- we loved that everyone had their own space, but also lots of space where we could hang together. Great skiing, with ski out trail just across the road. Beautiful and well stocked kitchen with everything one would expect. Very nice that use of the garage is included. Hot tub could use better access as we always felt like we tracked dirt into it, even trying not to. Also would've been nice to have bath towels provided, kind of wierd that they arent- even face cloths, etc arent included. Otherwise we had a grreat time.

This was an awesome place to stay. The house is great, layout is great, amenities are great.You can tell the owners really love their house. I really enjoyed our stay here. The ski-in/ski-out was extra nice. The kitchen is well appointed which is good since it is a bit of a drive to Golden.

My husband and daughter and I stayed here when she participated in the Golden Ultra which had stages both in Golden and at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. It was a very convenient location. The kitchen was well set up for cooking and we enjoyed relaxing in the great room between events. The bathrooms have been recently updated and the finishings make it seem like home. We would definitely come again.

My top 2 favourite things were the hot tub and the beds! I never sleep well away from home and I slept like a rock!!! All of the amenities we needed were there. The hosts were so quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay there again!!

Great House. Few minor maintenance issues to be dealt with during our stay, but no biggie. Host Mel was excellent with great communication leading up to and during our stay. Would definitely stay there again and happy to provide high recommendation.

Our Family was in heaven at Mel's ski in and out property! In march we could ski from the garage down the frozen driveway and over the frozen little street thar is Purcel Woods. From there you crossn1 street (5 meters) and are skiing downhill to the base/gondola. The house was perfect. With a queen bed and three sets ofnl bunkbeds we didnt even need the pull out couch. The hot tub worked great as did everything else. Loved our time and hope to be back soon.

We had a great time at Mel's place. Location was great, house was well stocked w games, toiletries and kitchen items (note bath towels are not provided). Great hot tub and layout. Garage is super convenient for storage and changing in and out of ski gear. Would recommend and return.

Comfy cabin with that real "ski cabin" feel, nicely equipped and decorated. It's a 2 min walk to the ski run and then you can ski to the gondola, ski out right to the house off the run. Has a double garage which is nice as well for parking and storing gear. Hot tub is a nice plus! Would definitely come back in the future. Hosts were great, lots of detailed info on property.

we have been going to Kicking Horse for several years but had never stayed at this house before. In the future this will be our first choice. The cabin is very cozy and was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The beds are very comfortable, the showers have rainwater style heads, the kitchen is open and well stocked with cooking materials. The host was very nice, easy to communicate with, and very accomodating. As long as there is a little bit of snow, this place is a true ski-in ski-out. We can't wait to come back.

Overall, this is a good house and a good setup. We loved the downstairs hangout for the teens with a PS5. This left the main floor for the adults. The only weird thing that would drop my ratings is that we had to bring our own towels - both for the hot tub and the bathrooms. Overall a great rental.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Kicking Horse Retreat Cabin. Mel was a great host...the house was fully equipped with all necessities. We loved the hot tub, the rain shower, and a fully stocked kitchen. The cabin is very nicely decorated which made our experience even better. We would come back here.

What a great house! So comfortable lots of space for our family of four. Wonderful bathrooms and walking distance to the gondola. This house is exactly as advertised and then some. Mel the owner was extremely responsive and wonderful to deal with. If you plan to stay in Golden this house is a great option.

My friends and family had a wonderful time staying at this home and playing golf at the Golden golf club. We would definitely stay here again if we do another golf trip!
