”The house is lovely. It's nice and big and we could spread out. The Property manager made sure we had everything we needed. But there are some drawbacks. The bathrooms don't have regular showers. Four of the five bathrooms have handheld showers in a bathtub which is a little difficult for Americans who are not used to it. The lighting in the kitchen is very poor and we like to cook. The utensils and pots and pans were also not great, and made it difficult to cook.”

”Beautiful Italian style house. The views were incredible. Owner very responsive. Two large outdoor patios. One patio overlooks the sea and the other the valley and town. We had breakfast overlooking the town and dinner overlooking the sea. You could see the 250 foot yatchs in the water just below us. One we recognized from Fort Lauderdale.”

”Tolles Haus! Die Betten sind bequem, die Küche gut ausgestattet und alles ist sehr sauber. Es gibt oben 2 Schlafzimmer und unten eins. Auf jeden Stockwerk ist ein Badezimmer. Gerade wenn man mit größeren Kindern reist, ist es toll, dass Eltern und Kinder ein eigenes Bad haben :-). Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und mit dem Auto ist man schnell im Ort, wo es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants gibt. Der Kontakt mit Barbara war sehr nett und unkompliziert. ”Great old home decorated well in the mountains of small town. Naps pool side under the veranda listening to the nature all around was a daily event. We had plans to go to Portifino but never made it. The property was a nice escape after being in very crowded cities. I would stay here again if I ever make it back to Italy. ”We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was in a very good shape, very clean and the view was phenomenal. We were four and there was plenty of space. Patrizia was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback: the motorway is clearly audible despite the great distance due to the hillside location. For dog owners: Walking the dog can be exhausting ;-) But that is obvious when you stay in Liguria.”

Excellent hotel with old charm, central location!
"First of all, big thanks to Irene, Emanuele and the lovely and helpful Maurilio! Thanks to you, our stay at the hotel was even better. The hotel is in the center of Rapallo, close to everything. You will find all restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. Right in front of the hotel is a pier where you can easily take a boat to Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure and spend the day there. Our room had a wonderful view of the sea, and a balcony where you could see the city. The room was big with high ceilings, bright and clean, the bed was good and the room has enough closet space and counter space. The bathroom was bright and large, clearly renovated, clean and well equipped. The only minus comes from the breakfast, which unfortunately does not meet the breakfast expectations of a 4* star hotel. The place for breakfast is a wonderful space in the downstairs restaurant with wonderful views. The staff is also considerate and helpful. But the breakfast selection is very limited. And it's a pity that every morning there was a lack of food in the selection, and there was always something left to wait for. The hotel was apparently fully booked, and in that case it should be anticipated and taken into account in the amount of breakfast. The quality of the food was good and tasty. As we had a few rainy days, we found out that there is no umbrellas in the hotel.We did not expect that at all, we assumed of course that 4* hotel has umbrellas in every room.Please fix that, grazie mille!"
