”Very calm relaxing location on the beach and with nice neighborhoods to walk around. Bad weather had us indoors most of the time but in good weather the deck and lawn would be amazing . Good food from restaurant and great happy hour 3-5”

”Am a Hilton Honors member, was supposed to have 2 bottles of water in the room. None was there, on my wsy out for a dinner date I stopped by the front desk and mentioned this....they said they'd put 2 in the room. Didn't happen...disappointed!!”

”Hotel was centrally located and easily accessible and rooms are well equipped. As the hotel is in the centre, sounds from the street (especially during the night time) were quite loud (as there are many bars and karaoke places in the neighborhood). Our rooms were on the second floor, we had a hard time sleeping (It is advisable to request for rooms upstairs). In general, the staff members (Reception and Bar/restaurant) very nice and friendly. Our one “free” night ended up costing over $118 due to the charge plus charges for breakfast and the market which we had been told were credited to the mandatory charge. It was confusing and not well explained. And it made no sense.”

”Mark the driver and Crystal went above and beyond to help us during our 4 day stay. Chris, the weekday bartender, was engaging without being too chatty and gave us a personally recommended guide to Portland sites and restaurants that was spot on every time. The scent in the lobby was overpowering. My husband liked it. I found it offensive.”

”A bit outdated. Rug on the floors was shabby. Transportation person was grumpy. Not enough shampoo and conditioner in room. But the cost was economical.”

”Friendly front desk. The room had mold in the shower and a blood stain on the pillowcase. Nice to have a microwave and a mini fridge. Breakfast was great- lots of options- and the room was very cute, or you could bring it back to your room. ”

”The staff was nice, the breakfast was decent, there was good parking, it was close to old port and the portland head light, the room and bathroom were good sized. My only complaint is the floor could have been swept and vacuumed better because I had to brush my feet off before I got in bed.”

”I DO NOT LIKE room cleaning/towel replacement every other day. Coffee pods in room were not refilled. I had to go to front desk and request cups/pods. I also don’t like having to pay $13.99 for a bagel, coffee, fruit (breakfast buffet). Do complementary continental breakfast instead. All that said, the staff was very pleasant and friendly.”
