”SPACIOUS AND COZY There were 2 king size beds, 4 sets of bunk beds, and a very comfy extra large couch. LOCATION Beautiful area. Lots of horse and cows within eye sight of the house. Incredible starlight night sky. Check-in went smooth, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the place was clean. Lots of small touches that the host put into providing an amazing experience for us. ”

The location was remote enough for our liking, but was also close enough to larger cities to make it easy to get to.We stayed in the shire suite and because I am a big Lord of the Rings fan it made for great ambiance, especially the big round door.We would love to stay here again in the future.”

”Beautiful peaceful retreat. Close to all the marinas. Very clean home with lots of space. Communication with owners Jay & Barb was wonderful and efficient. Safe, quiet community.”

We were in town for my Mother's funeral and appreciated having this extra space. Everything from toiletries to snacks was provided. Plan on staying here again next time we're in town. Thank you”

”First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!”

”Peaceful, relaxing, and near to everything. Will definitely be back. We definitely have the privacy we need and still being near everywhere we need to be. The drive is 30 mins to Shenandoa, 1 hr to Luray Cavern and 30 mins to Monticello. We went to winery around as well. Resort is very responsive. Our car is awd and has its own navigation so it worked out fine for us. No cellular service but wifi is great. ”
