”A last minute booking. Communication was excellent and the owner let us park and check in early. We enjoyed a coffee at the cafe next door whilst they finished preparing our room. The owner greeted us and spent time showing us the best walking route to take, to see the wonderful town of Plovdiv. The hotel is on the doorstep of the beautiful old town. Breakfast was a very tasty typical Bulgarian breakfast served to your table. We loved our overnight stay and would recommend. ”

”The room and common areas were tidy. But shower had barely a drip of water coming out, also it was difficult to get warm (not hot, not cold) water and the sink was the size of my palm. Shower was right next to toilet and there was nothing to wipe the floor with. Bed was creaky, but pillows good. Air-con worked. Enough space to put luggage in the room. My reservation mentioned room with a balcony, but I was not given one. I don't mind. But if you book, make sure you get a balcony if that's what...

”Fantastic apartment 10 min to Plovdiv’s Main Street, 15 min to old town. Absolute gem. From the outside the building isn’t glamorous but it’s very safe and the apartment is plenty big for a family of 4, maybe even more if people sleep on the sofas on the living room. The shower works well but there’s no separate shower area or curtains so the owner provides a squeegee and slippers. The boiler is big so many people can shower in a near time. ”Quiet place with excellent garden outside center more rural. Although things are not modern they are ok and give you a great value for the price. Owner is friendly and makes you feel at home. If youbwant something off the beaten track definitely consider this gem.”
