”Stayed at the Black Dog Inn in Bolton for two nights. The room itself was comfortable enough for the price, so no major complaints there. However, the overall experience was disappointing.
The first night was a write-off in terms of sleep. Staff gave a late booking to a couple who had been drinking in the pub, and they stayed up most of the night with the TV on at a very high volume. ”Stayed here over the weekend and what a fabulous venue. From the very first moment to the last, it was perfect. The owner was very accomadating and the cleaner was a wonderful lady. The place was spotless, the hot tub was brilliant and the property was beautiful and modern. Will definitely be returning!”

After driving up from London to explore the Peak District we were delighted to arrive at a very new, designer appointed lovely home !
Sitting at night and watching the birds on the canal was so peaceful and relaxing.
While being close enough to Lyme Park and Lyme House - (Jane Austen would approve) and Chatsworth etc the truly grand homes we shopped and cooked as there was everything we needed to stay in and enjoy our stay.
