Kaunis Hibiscus-talo

Löydä Eleutheran perhesaari tässä kauniissa kivitalossa - Hibiscus House of Wykee Estatesissa. Talo tarjoaa täydellisen yhdistelmän klassisen bahamalaisen charmin ja modernien mukavuuksien kanssa. Hibiscus-talo on alle minuutin kävelymatkan päässä rannalta ja uima-allas, jota jakaa muutaman yhteisön talon kanssa, ja se on ihanteellinen loma. Saari samoin kuin omaisuus on erittäin hiljainen. Talo on täysin varustettu DirecTV, Wi-Fi, stereot sisä- / ulkotiloilla, pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, astianpesukone, keskusilmastointi jne.

Kartanon rakensi Bahaman ensimmäisen pääministeri Sir Roland Symonette 1930-luvulla. Lomakeskuksen piilopaikka sisältää kartanon ja kuusi kivimökkiä, jotka on sijoitettu 80 hehtaarin rehevään trooppiseen puutarhaan, ja johon on liitetty eristäytynyt vaaleanpunainen hiekkaranta. Vanha kivimökki on hiljattain kunnostettu pitäen samalla kauniit ranskalaiset ovet ja ikkunat. Se on upea kietoutuva turvatarkastus kuisti, joka on sisustettu uusitulla vintage-rottintilla ruokailuun, rentoutumiseen tai vain upeiden näkymien nauttimiseen. Lattiat ovat nyt kauniita, viileitä, lasitetut. Kalusteet on päivitetty kirkkailla, karibiaisilla väreillä. Makuuhuoneessa uusi queen-size-vuode avautuu ilmava kuistilla ja näkymä merelle. Toinen makuuhuone, jossa kaksi uutta erillistä vuodetta, on sisustettu keltaisilla ja blues-värisinä. Siellä on kaksi kunnostettua kylpyhuonetta. Talossa on suuri olohuone, jossa on kymmenen + jalkakatot ja takka. Siellä on myös täysin varustettu päivitetty keittiö, jossa jääkaappi, liesi, astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni, pienet kodinkoneet, astiat, ruokailuvälineet ja pesukone. Siellä on iso erillinen ruokasali. Talossa on kattotuuletin jokaisessa huoneessa. Toisin kuin useimmat bahamalaiset kodit, talossa on keskusilmastointi.

We had a truly wonderful week at this property! The location was perfect, and we had the swimming pool entirely to ourselves the whole time - such a treat! The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. We especially loved relaxing on the screened porch in the evenings. Communication with the host was fantastic, so responsive and kind. When our flight got canceled, they were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to extend our stay another night. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home and host!

This was our second stay at Hibiscus House. Wykee Estate is quiet, clean, and lovely. Hibiscus House has lots of character and the colorful Bahamian decor is charming. Alexandra replied quickly to the few questions we had. We look forward to returning!

Absolutely perfect!

I cannot say good enough things about Hibiscus House! The house was comfortable, extremely clean, and spacious. We had two couples staying in the house, and the second couple used the trundle bed feature to turn one of the twin beds into a king in the second bedroom. The photos don't do this place justice! It's even more beautiful than the photos make it seem. The ocean is down the hill from the house, so you can see it from the enormous screened in porch. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood, behind a coded gate, so it's very safe. The house was incredibly well-stocked with some things you wouldn't expect, left behind by other guests (sunblock, binoculars, sandtoys, towels, spices, and even some beer!), but you may need to contribute to the house stockpile with things like trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels. If we come back, I'd plan to visit the house first before going to the store for some essentials - there's a shop about 10 minutes away in Governor's Harbor. Alexandra, the host, was extremely responsive via text and Lydia, the on-site host, was absolutely lovely. She stopped by on our first night to make sure we had everything we needed. I'm not sure when we'll make it back to Eleuthera, but if we do, we'll be staying here!

Astounding beach, almost deserted!

The spacious beach house is back from the beach by about two oother houses, but has a nice, if limited, ocean view. On the way to the beach is a really lovely swimming pool, open to the neighborahood. Then, crossing the beach access road and traversing the dunes is a stunning beach. They say it's pink sand ... well, if you squint. But the quality of the sand is superb, and the beach is 150 to 200 feet wide. You'd think the whole world would be there, but we had it mostl to ourselves. Best for folks who want to settle in, as island travel is quite challenging.

The Hibiscus house is in a great location- with easy access to the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the Caribbean. The pool is also very nice. We spent most of our time on the veranda, and the host was very responsive.

Hibiscus Heavenly stay

Very clean. Great central location. Beautiful porch. Quiet, relaxing neighborhood. Pool is large but there is no shade and no umbrellas. Lounge chairs are wood and very uncomfortable. If you go to pool, bring your own seating. Beach was a short walk. There was more glass and garbage than I have ever seen in 12 years of visiting this beautiful island. If you want to walk on beach you need tennis shoes. I would not want my kids going down or swimming in the water as it is clear glass bottles and garbage go in and out with the tide. If you know the island, then you know there are plenty more beaches to visit and swim at. This and the TV / Wi-Fi not working 5/7 days we’re the only drawbacks to the location. Since we don’t go to the island to watch TV, it was no big deal. People with kids might feel differently . Also, I am not suggesting that this property owner or manager are responsible for cleaning up the beach. I suspect a lot of it comes from the guests at the neighboring resort, young kids, etc.

Eleuthera Breezes

This little cottage midway on the Atlantic side of Eleuthera just North of Governor’s Harbor is the perfect location to soak up sun and gentle breezes and from which to explore both the Atlantic and Caribbean beaches nearby. Enjoyed the modern conveniences and comfort of a charmingly decorated cottage, full of unique character with the sound of the ocean in the background.The screen porch was our favorite place to have our meals and relax with a good book. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. A truly memorable, relaxing stay. Great pool and lovely long stretch of beach almost to ourselves. Amazing!

Lovely Hibiscus

2nd time back at this wonderful rental. All I can say is that we and our 3 kids love this house so much. Nothing can beat the amazing wrap around screened in porch where we spend most of our nights hanging out, playing cards or charades!!!! The house itself has been spotless both times we have rented. It comes with lots of beach toys - noodles, and most importantly beach chairs and umbrellas (not all rentals have this much great stuff for guests to use during their stay!) The house itself has such great vibes. It’s bright and airy with very high ceilings in the great room where you will also probably spend many a night! Beds are all very comfortable. Appliances all in great working condition. Alex, the owner, is amazing and hyper responsive if you have any questions. The caretaker Lydia is an absolute sweetheart. We love Hibiscus and we love Eleuthera! The memories we have made at Hibiscus will be with all of us forever!!

Relaxing in Paradise

The location of the property is great, 5 minute drive to Governor's Harbor. We enjoyed the pool and the beach areas. Every time we were at the pool we were the only people there. The beach is beautiful. We had 1 problem with internet service. We contacted Alexandra and were up and running in 10 minutes. Alexandra's communication was fantastic. We will be booking this property next year.

Highly recommend this home!

My husband, adult son, and my 8-year-old granddaughter just returned home from a wonderful vacation in Governor's Harbor. This beautiful home is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Just a short walk to the beach and a nearly private swimming pool, it was perfect for our family trip! Alexandra was very responsive to our questions and made some great recommendations. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in one of the most beautiful places in the world! The home was extremely clean, well appointed (loved the decor!), and close to restaurants and stores. Thank you, Alexandra, for being such a gracious host!

Photos are very accurate but looks better in person. Beautiful secluded beach 5 minute walk. Neighborhood pool never anyone in it. Pascals beach bar 5 minute walk. The bar tender, Semmy is my new best friend. 1648 French Leave restaurant is the best food you will find anywhere. Alex is simply the best communicator we have ever experienced on VRBO. Will we return......Hell yes!!!!!

Christmas Break at Hibiscus House

Our time at Hibiscus House was out of this world. We love Eleuthera, and the location of Hibiscus is perfect - about 5 mins to the town of Governors Harbour, and less than 10 mins from GHB airport. The property is a short walk down to the beach and there’s a pool on the way! The house has everything you could need. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids slept in the room that has 2 great daybeds that each fold out into king size beds - would be fine for 4 kids. The master is great - very comfortable, airy, bright and beachy. Our favourite spot to hang out was on the screened in porch- beautiful for morning coffees and evening cocktails! The kitchen was great and offered everything we needed - we ate in a lot! House came with great beach toys for kids and adults; umbrellas, beach chairs, and a cooler, which was a huge plus. Our host, Alex, was very attentive. What a great stay!!!

Excellent experience

This house is truly fully equipped with everything you will need in Eleuthera. The property manager was super responsive, attentive and caring. The wrap around deck is fantastic. The house was clean and easy to keep clean. The location is our favorite as it is near our favorite beaches. We cannot wait to return and will absolutely rent this house again. A Little Bit of Paradise

Sometimes all the stars align and you get a fantastic property and a great host at the same time. That's the case with Alexandra and Hibiscus. Alexandra was wonderful during our stay -- checking in, providing recommendations and making sure we were comfortable. And with Hibiscus fully stocked, it felt like we were visiting friends. We loved the screen porch, the landscaping, the birds which sang in the gumbo-limbo trees each morning, looking down through the palm trees at the blue blue water, enjoying miles of untouched beaches.... I could go on. The house itself was well laid out, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and felt fresh and clean. The yard was beautifully landscaped and it was a short walk to the pool and beach. This is a lovely, old-school compound that feels like a neighborhood and we enjoyed running into friends nearby and meeting others. We hope to return! Thank you so much!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hibiscus House. The house is charming, comfortable, super well equipped, very clean and we have no complaints whatsoever! The beach is a very short walk away (uphill on the way back). The beach is honestly FANTASTIC, one of the best we visited on the Island. The manager was very quick to respond any doubts or questions we had. Overall it was a great stay!
