Tradewinds on yksinäinen 2 makuuhuoneen, 2 kylpyhuoneen huvila, oma uima-allas ja upeat näkymät Atlantin valtamerelle. Sijaitsee Banks-tien varrella Eleutheran "Kultaisen mailin" sydämessä, se on 900 metrin (3 minuutin kävelymatkan) päässä Pankin tien toisella puolella, tieltä pitkin kaunista, hiljaista, vaaleanpunaista hiekkarantaa. Kiinteistössä on myös 1 makuuhuone, 1 kylpyhuonemaja, jonka voi vuokrata päärakennuksen kanssa. (Vierastalo on vuokrattavissa VAIN päärakennuksen kanssa - sitä ei vuokrata itsenäisesti. Majatalon lisäyskustannukset, 100 dollaria ylimääräistä per yö.) Alue Governors Harbourista Pohjois-Palmetto -pisteeseen on upein ja halutuin venyvä saarella, ja siellä on upeat vaaleanpunaiset hiekkarannat, upeat riutat ja upeat ravintolat ja kahvilat. Tyylikkäästi sisustettu koko, talo on käänteinen, ja ylähuoneen suuri huone ja keittiö mahdollistavat upeat näkymät ja tuulet pääasiallisessa elintilassa. Keittiössä on modernit laitteet ja iso saari, jossa baarituolit. Alakerrassa makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode, Smart TV ja kylpylämainen kylpyhuone, jossa on kynsilattia-amme, suihkukaappi ja kaksoisallas. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on myös king-size-vuode, ja sillä on oma parveke - täydellinen aamukahvia varten. Toinen makuuhuone voidaan myös muuttaa king-size-vuodeksi 2 erillistä vuodetta. Vieraskylpyhuoneessa on suihku. Koko talossa on yksityinen nopea internetyhteys.

Rantatuolit ja 2 sarjaa snorkkeleita sisältyvät vuokraan. Voit snorklata riuttoja, uida tai kävellä mailia pitkin vaaleanpunaisia hiekkarantoja, jotka alkavat vain 3 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä talosta. Suuri huoneessa on 42 "taulutelevisio-TV (Netflix-tilauksella).

Talo sijaitsee keskellä saarta, mitä pidetään parhaimpana sijaintina Eleutherassa. Se on lähellä parhaimpia vaaleanpunaisen hiekan rantoja, ja 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä on useita ravintoloita. Our sanctuary in paradise

This was an absolutely amazing rental home. The location was perfect: a quick and easy drive into town and an easy walk to the beautiful beach across the street. Eleuthera can feel rural at times and while this property is tucked a bit out of the way and felt quiet and private it was still easy to access. We loved the town of Governor’s Harbor and were really happy to have this location as our base for exploring the southern side of the island. Everything matched the listing accurately and the layout of the house was perfect for our group of 6 friends and couples. Great common space and a really well appointed kitchen that made cooking at home a breeze. That top deck with ocean views was so peaceful and comfortable for morning coffee. Jethro is a hospitality pro, he welcomed us so warmly, took his time showing us the ins and outs of the property, and was happy to give advice about which restaurants to go to and which beaches and excursions to check out per our group’s needs. We took a lot of his advice and were so glad we did!!We all wish we could’ve stayed much longer and are eager to return. Thanks, Jethro!

What an oasis!

Tradewinds was just what we needed as a spot of relaxation before a big wedding. Jethro was so considerate and came by to make sure our stay was going well and to find out if we needed anything. We thoroughly enjoyed the home with comfortable beds and clean refreshing pool. The 3 min walk on the sand path through the palm trees opening to the breathtaking Atlantic beach was a bonus. We hope to come again!

Great property, easy access, and great host. Jethro added to the enjoyment of our trip by giving us tips on locations, activities, restaurants, shopping, and even helping us with our drinking water. He did not have to be as attentive and kind as he was, but he was anyway. We were warned about power outages but didn’t have any problems during our stay. The path and beach walk to Tippys was a great experience. We recommend.

Loved it!

This was our third time staying at one of Jethro’s properties, and the first time staying at Trade Winds. On previous visits, we stayed next door at Sea Shanty. This time, we had another couple join us, so we reserved Trade Winds, and it did not disappoint!There are so many hangout options – whether you want shade or sun. The decks were great, and the pool was wonderful!Jethro is a fantastic host. Great communication, and very responsive to any requests.The location of the house is perfect for exploring the island – and the beach across the street is gorgeous. Perfect for a sunrise, or a walk to Tippy’s. As with Sea Shanty, the beach access is across the street, down a short, tree lined path (maybe 3–4-minute walk). We prepared most of our dinners at the house, which was well equipped. Overall, a terrific experience. We can’t wait to go back!

AMAZING!

Words can’t describe how beautiful and tranquil the beaches are on Eleuthera. The Trade Winds house is a great central location to adventure out or simply stay in and relax on one of two balcony's. Easy walk (just across the street) over to pink sand beaches and within walking distance to Tippy's restaurant and bar. Nothing tops our host, Jethro, who is a wealth of information about the island and so kind to help when needed. We can’t wait to return next year! We will definitely book with Jethro again!

Christmas at the beach!

Great location! Only steps to the beach. Stars are amazing. Sound of waves can be heard from the deck. Sunrise from the front deck each morning was wonderful. Sunset off the side deck is also great! Kitchen is well stocked for coooking and nice that staples were left behind from past guests, inlcuding extra drinking water. Be sure to go to the Island Farm store and the Market in Rock Sound was impressively stocked, especially for us as vegetarians who coooked most of our meals at Tradewinds. Information provided by host on nearby beaches, stores and restaurants was very helpful in our planning and considering what to do each day. Host was also very responsive with suggestions and help of any kind. December was a little too cold for us to use the pool but it was cleaned everyday in case we wanted to take a plunge. The secluded beaches, the adventurous roads, the wonderful shops and stores, the very helpful residents and shop owners, and Island Farm are the reasons we will be returing as soon as we can!

Secluded Paradise!

This is an incredible getaway. The house has everything we needed to cook and bake, including a grill. There are times when the power on the island is out so the grill was really handy. The beach is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and most days we were the only ones there. Jethro was always available if we needed him and very friendly! We hope to be back to this magical place soon.

Fantastic property!

We took our family down to the bahamas for a graduation celebration. The pool house plus the main residence was a must and a very nice feature of this place. Not to mention the pool was awesome. Jethro keeps his place very nice and was very willing to help us out on what to do on the island. The beach is a 5 minute walk.Or a very short drive.beautiful beautiful! Ultimate Paradise

This place is perfect for exploring beaches and also having a pool. Located in the middle of the island its convenient to go either North or South. Jethro is hands down the best home owner we have ever rented from. Immediate response in person if needed. Even though right on Banks Rd the privacy is perfect! Looking forward to returning to this beautiful island and will definitely return to Tradewinds!

JUST BOOK IT

After rescheduling our trip to Eleuthera 2-3 times due to Covid and then a medical issue, we were finally able to make it down to stay at Jethro’s property and it was totally worth the wait! The home is located in a nice area that gets you away from everything! The beach across the street is STUNNING and you MIGHT see 1-2 other people strolling the sand but you also might not. The property was exactly as listed and well appointed-Jethro and Bubbles (his sweet pup) stopped by upon checkin to go over a few things and that was really nice. Speaking of Jethro, you can expect his communication with you to be stellar - truly a helpful and gracious host! He now sets the bar for all VRBO hosts LOL. Highly suggest Tippy’s which is super close to the house (amazing customer service, food/drinks, and view; popping down to Ten Bay Beach (about a fifteen minute drive from the house) which was jaw dropping beautiful, visiting the Glass Window bridge (and if you’re brave and careful climb up on the rocks for some amazing panoramic pics), and hitting The Market supermarket for groceries. We did go to Harbour Island for a day trip; rented a golf cart to scoot around and it was really nice-much more of a bougie scene on that island and a lot more people if that’s your thing. But we were quite happy at the beach across the street from Jethro’s and then cooling off in the pool at the end of the day! Felt totally safe during our whole trip. Like I said, JUST BOOK IT.

Stay like you live there!

The house is well appointed with everything that you need to live there. There are a collection of toiletries as well as TP and PT. The kitchen has all you need to cook (stay like you live there) with seasonings -we added garlic powder, mustard, Mayo and salad dressing- all the small appliances and kitchen equipment is there. The grill is nice, and we used it a few times. Your beach days are covered with chairs, mats, toys and snorkel gear for the family. Bring your fishing poles! Don’t fill your suitcase with beach towels they have many. The lovely pool and deck with lounges gives you something to do on your “down time.” The two upper decks are ideal for sunrise, sunset, star gazing, meals and a spectacular space launch we saw go right over head!! The location is perfect for exploring the island top to bottom. Jethro and Cate, your hosts, go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. With tips on where to eat, what to see and things you shouldn’t miss while you’re staying. If you want to live like a local and have it feel like your home. Stay here, I assure you you won’t be disappointed.

This property was absolutely perfect in every way. Spacious, clean, fully stocked with beach towels, kitchen appliances and dinnerware. We enjoyed sitting on both decks, listening to the waves and watching the sunrise/sunset. Location of this house is exceptional and Jethro was an amazing host. He made himself available as often as we needed and had so much helpful knowledge of the island. The pool on site was a huge added bonus. It’s big enough for the kids to play in or just to enjoy while you cool off from the sun. The property is a very short walk to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen! We spent most of our time there. Kids loved swimming in it, walking around finding beach treasures and exploring the rock barrier at the south end. They played in those shallow pools for HOURS as the tide went out. Tippy’s was definitely a bonus to have within walking distance and full of lovely people. Food is very good, and live music was very enjoyable. Coco Cream (ice cream) was a nightly treat and only a short car ride away- kids really looked forward to that! The restaurant next door, Buccaneers, was also amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious- we even bought a bottle of their ghost pepper hot sauce to take home. We will absolutely be back to Tradewins! Highly, highly recommend this property and location. My husband and our two kids (12 & 9) had one of the best vacations we’ve ever had together.
