”The room was smaller than expected but fortunately we were only staying one night. The room didn’t seem to have enough insulation and it was a cold, windy night when we arrived. The heating system worked great but the bathroom remained cold even with the door left open. It was easy to complete the check-in process and receive our door code. The only suggestions I would make is for more areas in the bathroom for supplies, maybe a small shelf and more drinking cups, only 2 were provided.”

”The cleanliness of this hotel was very questionable. The smell in the hallway was very mildew & the room we had smelled like cigarettes our whole stay , even the towels smelled. The bed had a huge deep dent in it & the blow drier was sticky. Nothing was clean about this place ”

”The hotel called and cancelled our reservation as we were pulling into the parking lot after check in time. They offered no help in finding an alternate reservation and when I asked to speak to the manager they hung up on me. Went inside the lobby, which smelled so strongly of weed it was almost unbearable. The staff behind the desk was visibily trying to avoid dealing with me, so I left. Only got a refund because Expedia’s customer service is good. The hotel never offered or initiated one ”

”My room was so lovely, with a comfortable bed, a nice view of the city, very clean, and quiet. It's a great location for exploring the city - walkable to good restaurants (I loved La Bola), the GeVa Theater, Planetarium, and many good coffee shops (Albunn was fantastic). This hotel just has so much more character than a chain. Highly recommend! ”

”The reason why I rated Hampton Inn, sort of low is due to the pool was not operational. I specifically rented a room at this hotel because of the pool and it was my daughter‘s 18th birthday. I also found a small bug in my bed however I was so tired and a little tipsy. I did not call down to report it. Erin E Courtney ”
