Welcome to our vacation residence at Lake Granby, Colorado, situated in the Lakeshore Estates. If you seek a serene and comfortable place to unwind and appreciate the beauty of the Rocky Mountains - you have arrived at the right destination!
This is a modern, 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, stunning townhome. The main entrance to the townhome is located on the ground floor, providing direct access to the unit. This level also features a bedroom equipped with a queen-sized bed and a full en-suite bathroom.
The main floor of the unit is located upstairs and boasts an open floor plan that integrates the living, dining, and kitchen areas, all enhanced by large windows, hardwood flooring, and exposed wooden beams in the ceiling. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing by the gas fireplace, enjoying the flat-screen television, and utilizing the ceiling fan to stay cool during the warmer summer months. The dining area accommodates up to six guests and grants access to the private deck, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the mountains and forest. The generously sized kitchen features granite countertops, modern appliances, and ample space for meal preparation.
The upper level of the townhome houses the primary suite, which includes a queen-sized bed, a natural stone fireplace for added ambiance, a flat-screen television, a ceiling fan, and a full bathroom with newly tiled flooring and a shower/tub enclosure. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and a Captain’s bunk (double on the bottom and twin on the top) - an excellent choice for children in the group or anyone requiring additional bedding options, along with a flat-screen television and a full en-suite bathroom.
Unit amenities comprise 4 Smart TVs with Roku, a washer and dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and ceiling fans in both the living room and primary bedroom.
The location of this mountain townhome could not be better - in addition to being next to the second largest body of water in Colorado, you are only six miles away from the historical town of Grand Lake and the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Ski Granby Ranch Ski Resort is 15 minutes away and Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Areas are a 30 minute drive. Hot Sulphur Springs, one of Colorado's best kept secrets, is a short 20 minute drive.
Nearby summer activities include nearly all forms of water recreation: boating, water-skiing, sailing, jet-skiing, fishing, swimming, as well as kayaking and rafting on the adjoining three lakes and their tributaries. Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapahoe National Forest provide miles of hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling trails, as well as unparalleled wildlife watching opportunities. There are several golf courses in the area: Grand Lake's 18 hole public golf course just north of Grand Lake Village and Granby Ranch Golf Course nearby. Other fun things include Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater Company performances at the community center of Grand Lake, Jazz Festival in Winter Park, horseback riding, historical homesteads and ghost towns, museums, great restaurants, antique stores, and much, much, more!
Please note that there are no views of Lake Granby and there is no air conditioning in the townhome. We are located at an elevation of 8200' where the temperature will drop to the mid 40's at night even in the hottest part of the summer.
Situated approximately 300 yards from Lake Granby, guests have access to our private dock and common area on the lake. The common area features a BBQ grill with patio furniture, fire pit, volleyball court and horseshoe pit.
Fully equipped kitchen includes all pots, pans, dishes and utensils. All linens, towels, paper products and toiletries are provided. Free Wi-FI, Smart TVS, guests can use personal streaming services.
Parking: We are allowed ONE vehicle to parallel park directly in front of the townhome entrance in our parking lot. Do not park against the garage or the front door entrance. Additional vehicles and trailers must be parked on County Road 6418 directly in front of the townhome complex.
House Rules: Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited according to homeowner rule. Guests will face a fine of $500 per day if found smoking or bringing a pet onto the property. Check-in time is at 4:00PM and check-out time is at 10:00AM. Reservation holders must be 25 years of age.
Quiet hours are from 10:00PM - 7:00 AM.
