”This is my first 50/50 review of a resort. I usually stay at RIU resorts since I’m a RIU member, but because I was traveling with a minor, we couldn’t stay at the RIU in the Bahamas.
The location is great only 20–25 minutes from the airport, and a taxi for two cost about $40. Check-in was pleasant, but the rooms were disappointing. My first room, 2211, looked nice at first, but paint was peeling, the bathroom smelled humid and rusty, and the balcony door was almost impossible to open. I was...

”I actually did not make the trip, i had complications in travel, so out of the 2 week stay, it was only occupied for less than a week. I had hoped to maybe get some of my money back for that first week, but i did not find out about my cancellation of travel plans until 5 days before check in. My friends did go for some of the 2nd week and reported that the view was gorgeous and the condo was nice. ”
