We booked this property for 3 days, but unfortunately, it was not ready for our arrival. The bed appeared used, towels were left on the bathroom floor, dirty dishes were in the sink, and leftover food was in the fridge. The owner later confirmed another guest had stayed the night before and cleaners were not notified.It took nearly a full day to receive a response from the host, which left us without timely assistance and forced us to make alternate lodging arrangements.On the positive side, once VRBO was involved, the matter was resolved and a full refund was issued. While the resolution was fair, the experience was stressful, and I hope steps are taken to ensure the property is properly prepared and communication is more prompt for future guests.

Cute & comfortable cabin..kitchen was pretty well stocked. Some pans looked iffy if you’re planning to cook. Felt dark and dim inside in the evening even with lights on. Convenient to Granby and Grand Lake, easy drive to Rocky Mountains

Cute Cabin

This is a cute, rustic cabin. We had everything we needed and a comfortable bed! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and the cabin was clean, quiet and cozy. We were visiting family and enjoyed 4th of July festivities in town. We would stay here again!

Cozy cabin close to RMNP

This cabin was so cozy and had everything we needed for our visit to RMNP. We enjoyed our stay very much. When we locked ourselves out, the owner called right away and helped us get in.

Super cute and clean

The house was cute, quiet, clean and close to everything. There was a great book I didn’t get a chance to write in that gave recommendations for meals and coffee. We followed it and went to the Roadhouse for great burgers and steaks. We will be back! Thanks!

Great little cabin

Loved staying at this cabin. Very cozy and clean and perfect for my family of 3 and dogs. Excellent location, just minutes from Lake Granby and downtown Grand Lake. Will look to stay here again soon.

Winter ice fishing weekend

The cabin is in a good location right in the middle of Shadow Mountain and Lake Granby. Quick drive up to Grand Lake. The road into the cabin definitely needs a 4WD in snow mostly because the plowing creates a snow/ice barrier to get into the driveway.The cabin itself was fine. It was clearly built in stages and there are a lot of rough areas. There are loose outlets and curtains as separators for heat retention. The doors are hard to open from swelling and there are huge gaps around them. The living room gets very cold in the morning during winter. There is a noticeable gap under the door and thus a constant draft. We put a towel down and it solved the problem. There is no heat in the living room other than the fire you build yourself. The fireplace is extremely efficient, so it doesn't take too long to heat the area. The kitchen and bathroom are very warm because they are heated. The bed was the only really bad thing I can think of. It was so uncomfortable that we woke up with backs that wouldn't work for a bit. Beds are impossible to have everyone be comfortable on so I can't fault that. Other than that, it was an enjoyable place to relax and warm up in between rounds of ice fishing. Would stay here again if the bed was improved.

Perfect winter wonderland cabin for pups

This place was everything we wanted and more. A big snow came in the 3 days prior to our arrival but the driveway was plowed and walkeays shoveled. She had it decorated for Christmas which we loved and the outdoor lights were on a timer so when we got back from dinner the first night we got a surprise of more Christmas lights! Lots of wood for the fire and it definitely keeps the place warm! It was cozy and my pups felt welcomed. We will be back! Fabulous little cabin in the woods in a super quiet neighborhood! Keep your eyes out and drive slow we saw lots of wildlife including 2 foxes, 2 eagles, and a moose.
