”Simply stunning. This was our favourite place to stay during our three weeks in Japan. We stayed in some incredible accommodation but Petals, by far, was the best. We loved the location, coming back to a serene area on the waterfront, away from the bustle of central Tokyo, but conveniently close to public transport; the JR Yamanote line and monorail to and from Haneda airport. The staff are lovely and helpful - shout out to Tomoko and the rest of the team. They organised for me a birthday cake...

”Nice hotel”

”Breakfast and staff were absolutely 10/10. One huge minus was the hotel's very strange policy about "children under 11 stay for free" (which is mentioned somewhere if you know to look dor it) here's why: 1. When you book a hotel for two adults and two children, e.g. aged 10, the booking site recommends a room with actually not enough beds, but "one double bed and one single bed" or something like this. It turned out that the room had one 140cm bed and one 120cm bed. The bigger bed surely is ok...

”4년 전쯤 방문하고 이번이 두번째 방문인데 2층이 리모델링 되면서 더 깔끔해졌습니다. 완전 독채 빌라라서 소음에 크게 구애받지 않아도 되서 좋았습니다. 2층이 침실이고(싱글침대 4개) 1층에 코타츠가 있어서 술 사와서 밤에 마시기 좋습니다. 4명이서 친구 혹은 가족 여행에 추천합니다. 호텔보다 더 재밌는 경험이 될 수 있습니다.”

”High-class, but expensive stay in Shinagawa. It was super confusing getting to this hotel and the check-in process was a bit longer than expected. I'd rate it 5 stars if not for the confusing location and what can else can be offered in this price bracket.”

”クラシックな雰囲気で、階数も多くないので、客層が少人数でおちついた雰囲気です。ここの朝食が美味しいので気に入っています。場所が駅から離れていることもあり、とても静かなのがお気に入りです。 今までは近くにコンビニや飲食店がなかったのですが、向かい側にTOKYO DREAM PARKができたのでファミマがあります。これからオープンする飲食店もあるようなので、ちょっとありがたいです。”

”Erinomainen sijainti. Todella siisti. Hyvä palvelu. Ystävällinen henkilökunta Aamiainen tarjoiltiin aulassa. Ei ollut kovin viihtyisä ja aamiainen oli melko yksipuolinen, mutta kyllä sillä päivän sai alkuun. Huone oli tilava ja viihtyisä”

”We stayed six nights. Great service, outdated rooms. Nice restaurants, we only visited buffet: great breakfast, poor dinner - if You are not a huge fan of local sea-delicacies. Very nice lobby and easy to move with taxi. But, the hotel is squeezed between Tokyo Bay and a motorway, and moving by foot was less fabulous. Most things we wanted to see were not in Minato, so we pretty much always used a taxi.”
