”The bedroom is small but well appointed. I loved the form mattress and got a good night’s sleep. The ambiance is tranquil and the reception smelled great. Best of all was Kareem whose welcome and help made the stay so pleasant. When we found that our room was just beneath the rooftop bar and subject to late night noise, Kareem immediately changed our room with no fuss. We never made it to the rooftop bar and the many bad reviews it gets made it no big deal. I bet the hotel would get way better...

”If you like a cosy and more traditional atmosphere/architecture, a park nearby and a handy location close to public transport options this is your value for money option. I especially appreciated the possibility to get an electric kettle / water cooker upon request. The only minus is that the city noices can’t be avoided in downtown Lyon, thus a room higher up and earplugs are recommended. ”
