The house is super cute and exceptionally clean. We rent a lot of houses and this had absolutely everything we needed. It was super well stocked. It is across the street from the river and only a block from the local restaurant.

This place was wonderful. We loved getting up and seeing the sunrise over the Snake River in the morning. We were just a little confused about how to get in, as there was not a working keypad. The house is fantastic - highly recommended.

Nice getaway

This was so much better than staying in a hotel in Mt. Home, as we were fishing at CJ Strike reservoir, only a few miles away. The owner was nice enough to leave items that were not used for others to use and there were enough spices to do any type of cooking. The city is tiny, and not much open, a grocery store, bar, and cafe for am and lunch only. We felt safe, didn't lock doors and never had a problem with neighbors or kids. It is right across the street from the river, but access to the river is limited and down a few blocks for a spot here and there. There is a boat ramp just a few hundred feet from the bar. We appreciated the air conditioning, Roku tv (no local tv), and the cute little set up. Beds kind of crammed into the 2 bedrooms, as the house is old and rooms are small. Beds and living room couch really soft and you sink into them. Plenty of room to park boat and truck, with room to spare. Ceilings are low, so if you are 6ft 8" you may have to duck some. Owner very responsive when we had problems with the electronic door lock and was right there to help. It was clean; of course so close to river there are bugs here and there, nothing terrible. I would stay again.

Home Base

We rented this property while on an antelope hunt. It was in a great location for the unit we were selected in. It was great to be able cook and get clean at the end of the day. We would definitely do it again if we get drawn again. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Cozy little place

The destination was Superb. Very clean and comfortable. Wanted a quiet long weekend away from crowds and this was perfect! Only recommendation would be to have lamps in the common rooms near the couches for reading! A lovely place to stay!

So Perfect…

The location being right at the river made for perfect entertainment. Walking over to the cafe for breakfast or lunch made it so much nicer than expected. The house is so darn cute and perfectly setup. We were all happy, comfortable and loved every minute of it. My husband’s already trying to plan our return trip.

Quite a bit of cobwebs around the place and the bench by the back door was obviously falling apart. We didn't find the beds to be very comfortable but in general it was a nice stay and I would book it again if I came to stay in Grandview again!

Great Home Base For Sturgeon Fishing

My sons were super excited to learn that the property was right across the street from the Snake River. As soon as we got our stuff loaded in, they immediately went over and caught a monster rainbow trout! This is within walking distance of the market and cafe for meals and supplies. It’s also only about 30 minutes from C J Strike for some great sturgeon fishing. The yard was a little bit in disarray but overall, the property was just what we needed for a great fishing trip.

Mouse droppings behind the couch hide a bed and couch could not be used it. It was broken outside yard was very unsafe. We had a 96 year old person with us.
