”We’d had a fantastic lunch on our last trip to Cartmel which influenced our overnight stay to break our journey home and we were not disappointed!
We arrived to a warm welcome, and the most amazing and relaxing room. The bed was soooo comfortable along with a spacious bathroom.

”The location is perfect with easy access & a car park at the back (payable) & also a tunnel going through to the promenade, perfect for a stroll. The view from the bay fronted room was stunning; highly recommended.
The staff are all very hard working but courteous at all times & can't do enough for you.
The food is good & reasonably priced.
The poached eggs and mushrooms I had for breakfast was delicious!
The place is in need of some TLC & refurbishment is clearly ongoing but my room was...

”We stayed in room 11 which was lovely, decorated well and had a very large bathroom with a free standing bath. Breakfast was great with a good choice. Lisa was extremely helpful and having the option to be taken and brought back from nearby restaurants was an added touch, as well as the electric charging points”

”We had a wonderful stay in June in the woodlands chalet which featured a big hot tub and a huge comfy bed. The chalet was clean and modern, with all the essentials you could want provided such as tea, milk, biscuits and dishwashing liquid. The staff were all wonderful. We found our private courtyard with the hot tub was hot upon arrival and a great afternoon suntrap.
It's just a 10 minute walk to local restaurants, cafes, cute shops, a bakery, a fantastic deli and some pubs. There is a train...
