Sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. Houston County Lake has great fishing, especially bass. There is room here to park your boat.
Take the kids to Grapeland Safari, just 20 minutes away.
Follow our FB page, "Houston County Creation Station " for information on classes we offer. If you have a desire to learn a specific craft, let us know. Guests receive a 10% discount on all classes.
This is not a resort area, so very quiet and no traffic.

Great communications. We arrive and had two options to stay. The areas were large and clean. We asked about places to eat. Sandy recommend the Mimosa grill. All the food was great. They even had a live music artist. Went back to the Sand’s place and played board games with our grandson. Woke up took a great shower in an amazing shower and drank coffee before hitting the road. Thank you for a great stay. It was wonderful.

Ms Sandra annd the property are amazing!! She came the 1st day and checked on us and we chatted for awhile!! The public boat ramp is really close. But far enough from town that you wanna make sure you’ve got what u need before in you get out there!! We will be seeing you again!!

Nothing fancy, but what we needed

This spot was perfect for our needs. We weren't looking for fancy, or a vacation. All we needed was a spot to relax after a day of training. The owner is lovely, welcomed us and answered any questions we had, then stayed out of our way. A small living room to relax in, two adequate bedrooms and a kitchen that allowed us to prepare meals and not eat out. The owners chickens, cats (not allowed in the rental) and dog made us feel right at home. If we have the opportunity we'll be back.

Deer hunters' retreat

My husband and I truly enjoyed our holiday at the "Stay and Play". It was a great location for the deer hunting we do near Crockett. The accommodations were perfect for the two of us. There's plenty of room for our grandkids when they join us. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. All of the amenities we needed, and more were provided. The owners Sandy and Kevin were very friendly and extremely helpful. We will be repeat visitors.

Great Place To Stay!

We stayed two nights here. There was plenty of room for three adults and a child. Everything was just as stated in the listing. The full kitchen and fridge, dining area, living space... everything was clean and up to date. Plenty of toys and activities to keep children busy. The location was great also! Hosts were awesome!

Perfect for our family!

We have family with a lake house at Houston County Lake, but wanted a place to have our own space during our stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Sandra was so sweet and even left little activities and toys out for our small children. We all slept really well and everything was very well maintained. There were also some cute little details that our kids loved, like the sink with the light on it and the book shelf on the top bunk for bedtime stories. Wi-Fi was amazing, since we have little to no cell phone service. We will definitely be back!

Did not disappoint!

We needed a vrbo close to an event that was actually ina remote location. I was pleasantly surprise we found this apartment. It was clean, well-maintained and just what we needed. The Host were very friendly and communicated well with us.

Great Quick Getaway

Let me start with the hosts. SIMPLY AMAZING INDIVIDUALS! They were beyond courteous and very communicative. They made sure we had all the necessary essentials for our stay and made themselves available should we have needed anything else. The spacious was beautiful, spacious, and quiet. Although our brief visit was for bereavement, we will be sure to come back to visit the "beach" and other local Hotspots. This place is truly a hidden gem.

Comfortable place to stay!

The place was even better than the description. It was clean and comfortable. The host was very nice and accommodating! She even brought us extra sheets and set out bubbles & toys for our kids. The view of forest surrounding the apartment is gorgeous and the lake is literally across the street. We loved this place and will definitely be returning!
