”The room was clean. Although the pool wasn’t heated and a bit dirty. Breakfast was okay, not anything special I’d say for $300 a night I expected more. Expedia also says there is a $20 parking fee. They charge you at the front desk at check in this “fee” which includes parking and amenities which are just like cucumber lemon water and these very small smoothies glasses by the front door. The fee turned out to be $120. I think for the price staying here wasn’t worth it. Although staff was kind.”

”The toilet in my room was broken took them four hours to get us in another room we were traveling and paid for three days in advance, trying to get a hold of management was almost impossible”

”Overhead lights not working, bathroom sink lights not working, broken concrete walkway outside door and the concrete chips were never swept. Room was not cleaned the second day of my stay…this used to be a good place to stay but quickly going downhill. Aside from this I felt the room was at least clean but too much not taken care of.”

”Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.”

”The bar was very well stocked and had anything one would want. I was disappointed that this time on Taco Tuesday, they were unable to make me a vegetarian taco like they did last time. I went looking forward to it, and went without dinner. :-/ Luckily, I brought a few snacks. The scones and frittata at breakfast were very nice! Parking is hit or miss. I suggested they give guests a pass to put in their window to prevent non-guests from using the lot. Next time, I'll arrive well before...

”So close to downtown while also being woodsy and whimsical - stay here. On Saturdays a train even comes through and brings you to a train museum. This place is Magical!”

”El peor lugar del mundo. Entiendo que no debo esperar una súper experiencia por el precio. Pero hay cosas que son básicas y deben mejorarse . El colchón estaba pésimo en condiciones pauperrimas , y de sus instalaciones ni hablar .”

”We can’t wait to stay at Sierra Mountain Inn again. The cottage room was absolutely adorable and everything was well maintained. The front office staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful with a small issue we ran into. It was a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to our next stay.”
