”Cool little cabin! Right next to the river. Great biking near by. Close to the little town. Quiet and comfortable. Has a small kitchen which was nicely stocked. Was there during a hot weekend (95ish) and was worried about no AC, but somehow the place stayed nice and cool. Would definitely stay there again”

”The cabin was clean, convenient to town and fairly quiet. There is a walking trail behind the property. There is a nice porch to sit outside with rocking chairs.It was fully equipped with utensils, tea, coffee maker and snacks. The TV only had basic channels. There were no closets in the bedrooms. The yard is too overgrown to sit but there is a nice small bbq to grill. Overall, it was excellent and we enjoyed our 10 day stay very very much.”

”This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.”

”This a fantastic house, especially if you have kids in your group!! We had eight adults and seven kids, ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Our stay was in August. We used both canoes, the kayak, and the paddle board every day! We also used several of the bicycles, some of the beach toys, and the beach umbrella. The foosball table was in constant use. ”We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.”

”Entire place was great, even in the August heat of 80 degrees, it was so nice to spend time down by the creek, a quick jump in and out of the water was plenty. We thought we'd go into town for meals, but ended up cooking and staying in–eating lunch at the creek and dinner up on the deck. Can't wait to visit again!”

”This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location! ”

”This property looked ordinary from the outside, but once we opened the doors and saw the incredible view and access to the lush backyard, creek and trees, we were hooked! With perfect walking distance to Nevada City's Historic Downtown, we barely needed to drive again until we left. Hot tub sitting with coffee each morning was a dream, and the cleanliness of the house made for a relaxing getaway. 5 Stars for sure.”
