”While the room was clean, the sink was missing the drain flange was missing causing it to leak. No one did any housekeeping to this room while we stayed here. They did not replace towels or toilet paper when this would have been basic needs. The lady at check out was busy on the computer during check out and it appeared that she was playing a video game. She didn't even pause to take the key cards from me. The key cards had to be replaced multiple times as they wouldn't work in our hotel room...

”Breakfast was delicious - eggs, sausages, croissant or English muffins, cereal, pancakes - the works. Much nicer than the "Continental" breakfasts many hotels have. Hotel staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast and the staff member even upgraded us to a room with a hot-tub! (This was GREATLY appreciated after I got us lost on a hike and we ended up walking over 7 miles for 6 hours while birding, and our sore muscles NEEDED that hot soak!) The room was clean and...

The gas fireplace was wonderful on the chilly evenings and morning. The library room on the second floor equipped with water, tea, and coffee ensured we needn’t leave the floor for early morning beverages. Breakfast was amazing! We had to leave before the breakfast service could be ready on our last morning, and the innkeeper provided us...

The breakfast was amazing! Convenient parking in the rear- we walked everywhere and let the car sit during our visit.”
